- Matty Cranmer is getting ready to take his brand new Mongoose BMX race bike to a race track this weekend and he decided to take it to the skatepark tonight to practice and this was a very bad idea! He crashed on the spine and moved the handlebars and barely gout unscathed! This is why you Never Bring A Race Bike To A Skatepark Or This will happen!

I was impressed when he said he was going to do a tail whip crack flip thinking it would be fly out, then he started riding up the rail 😂🤯 like a bmx treflip
I haven’t watched the whole video yet. But I have been watching matty evolve for long enough now to know that if he put his mind to it he could actually qualify. Matty is a beast. I wish I could find the drive and determination he has.
he seems to get at least on the podium everything he tries a new style of riding or racing! he puts in the work!

them bars bending like that has been a mongoose problem since the 80s
??? A mongoose problem? The neck is not a mongoose brand. The bars did not bend. The bar went forward because the Neck's 4 bolts were not tightened to spec.

I spent some of my teenage years living in the Midwest and BMX was absolutely huge out there. And the ABA (American Bicycle Association) was preferred to the NBL (National Bike League) for one reason or another.

Expert is definitely the move for Matty bc he doesn’t care about winning he cares about being pushed and having a very intense fun race and in intermediate it would be hard to find tht type of race

Such a sick bike. I absolutely love how new gen BMX race bikes look. When I ride MTB and BMX I love doing gaps, so I'm kinda looking at maybe getting a race bike frame that I can beat on (since I'm never gonna learn whips or anything like that)

I would double check with USABMX just because if he’s doing the race Friday they have different rules because it is UCI and not USABMX rules. Just a heads 🆙
