Same goes for *Need For Speed Carbon Redux* and you should try it sometime

I did it maybe 2x or 3x on accident and always got the cops on a 20 minute chase, because it was much more fun that way. I was very disappointed in Carbon, where you hit all 4 wheels and still could continue the chase, with just a slightly worse steering.
i don't know about anyone else but I just loved the little white trails of smoke that used to come while viewing the opponents car from the back in the middle of a race.
i never get that lucky, i could be already down the street and they would bust me. the getting caught range and meter was broken in this game. still love it though. still play on my 360 from time to time too
The cutscenes when police are involved is actually taken in real time. That is why it is never the same each time. (Fun fact) So if you noticed, each time they ram cops or cops crash, they never take the same damage. It's not 100 percent scripted. Sometimes I have had cops be flipped or they remain still active even after taken heavy damage. Other times they lose multiple parts. Other times they don't.
