Konami is missing a big opportunity by not releasing Rush Duel in english. It's everything yugiboomers like me who have bounced off the main game want. Here's to hoping for an english release.
Currently it's top 10 in Japan so here's hoping . Though they'll probably do a Duel Master where they release in Other Asia Regions for testing first . maybe
I've been playing rush duel on duel links. Are there places that play rush with the ocg cards in-person? Or more likely to see that if rush makes it to the tcg?
Unfortunately there isn't anywhere in-person (that I'm aware of) to play Rush unless you set it up yourself. But I am coping hard on a TCG announcement at Worlds this year.
So this is a good question. Legend monsters aren't legends because they're the ace monster for a protagonist. There are no "set rules" on what makes a card a Legend (aside from the fact that they've all been TCG/OCG imports, but even that might change if Konami wants to mess around), so we can only look at the past to recognize the patterns. But we do understand that these 'guidelines' should be considered AT THE TIME OF RELEASE. First is that their statline should 'usually' be higher than average (if it's just a normal monster). Second is that their effect (if they have one) or even presence should push the limits of what a card should do in the game. Neos is a lvl 7 normal monster with 2500 atk 2000 def, that's pretty average compared to most lvl 7s (and some of em even have effects). But also if you make Neos a legend, you're essentially limiting it to 1 copy, which would make fusion summoning multiple monsters that need it as material nigh impossible. It would take up too many resources to make it a worthwhile deck to play. It's in the same line of reasoning why Beta the Magnet Warrior isn't a legend monster. Sure, a lvl 4 with 1700 atk is stronger than most, but there isn't a world where you keep it on the field as is. You're gonna fusion summon it off to way more powerful monsters with actual effects. If we want to look at a new addition, Freed the Brave Wanderer is a lvl 4 with 1700 atk, same as Beta. However, he also has the effect of destroying a monster with a higher atk than him. All you have to do is return cards from your graveyard into the deck. That's pretty strong if your bosses don't have protection. If you had 3 of them that's a potential board clear. So he HAS to be a Legend And there are definitely older Legend monsters that could probably lose their title in the current format and be fine. But that's a different story. Hope this helps
@@ProtagSan Does that mean Blue Eyes is not a good deck ? Considering Blue eyes is a Legend but they printed out card that counted themselves as Blue eyes so there's that
@@chinyang1200 as of now, blue eyes isn't meta contending. It can play decently well since it's easier to get your fusions out for a strong board, but too many cards stop it or just don't care about it to make it a top tier deck for now. I think in Rush Duel Links it's still a strong deck though, even without the fusions.

Uses Argent for tribute fodder like a boss.
