I initially fell for DAY6 exactly because of SUNGJIN. And at a timing so late: I didn't start to learn about them until June 2021 (!) -- that's a while after the Negentropy era already, and a while after SUNGJIN got enlisted. Yet before I even realized, songs of DAY6 have occupied my streaming list, everyday (and mission of collecting all their albums completed!). What else would you call good music then? It's true that I've grown to love all the members, but SUNGJIN just holds a special place there. Simply couldn't be better to hear at 3:27 that he's well in both body and mind (not to mention his sincere explaination afterwards)! Just like he said at 4:20 , it's a start for him in so many senses. See his expression while talking about how he's starting his 2nd life (other moments like getting excited when talking about food, how his confidence is through the roof, starting to wear more colorful clothes...)? Like a kid, 1st day of school, can't wait to explore his brave new world. Dear SUNGJIN, nothing beats seeing you all happy and healthy. I love sungjin's personality so much, he's just so...real? i don't think that's the right word but, in my opinion, he's a person that you can't classify into one box, he's known to be more serious and has think grandpa-like traits lol but he's also very chill, very warm and very funny, i feel like even at times when he tries to be entertaining or even when he feels nervous or shy, he's always 100% himself
and playing afraid when he is talking about mental health aigooo also i always forget that he is only 1 month younger than me and Young K is one year younger than me
