I'm living in the south of Tenerife in a nice flat with a large pool, tennis court etc, sunny weather year round, and the beach 5 minutes walking distance. I wouldn't mind being there right now excluding the pandemic but it's just too damn expensive to pop over there for a week or two. What does decent accommodation cost in central London per night? 90 100€?? A two week comfortable stay in a city I left when I was 4 in the mid 70s would cost in total between €2500 and 3000€!
