John thanks alot for your videos! 2002 Honda Sportrax 250ex. Bought front pads from you guys and MC rebuilt. I'd like you flush all the fluid out and refill with new. What order what your do all this in?? Install new MC rebuild, then pads then flush??
Good video. It would be good also to place a protective covering over the fender under the Master Cylinder to protect against spillage. But that’s on any bike or auto. Thanks for the video.
I have a Polaris trailblazer 250 1994. The front brake calipers show very little resistance. I do not see evidence of leaking brake fluid and the level in the master cylinder is good. Is it possible that bleeding the brakes in lieu of replacing master cylinder might resolve the issue?
I read earlier question about bleeding both sides. Do you do 1 side at a time or alternate? My 1991 TRX300FW has 1 hose out of master cylinder which splits and goes to each wheel.
Working on a 2007 Honda TRX250ES Recon. I have no pressure in my front brakes. Even after replacing the pads and bleeding the "old fashioned" way. I tried reverse bleeding, as I have done on cars and motorcycles, but am unable to push fluid into the bleed valve. Am I missing something?
ok I cleaned and rebuilt that master cylinder on my Suzuki Quad 300 ATV and I can't figure out how to get fluid in the line to bleed the brakes. I know how to bleed brakes on a vehicle but not on a atv. I reinstalled the master cylinder on the handle bar and filled it full of dot 4 fluid I have pumped and pumped and nothing. I have removed the main line and put my thumb over the hole and pumped and I get pressure and fluid coming out of the master cylinder. I have reconnected the main hose and continued and still nothing. I have a pump oil can and a hose and i have put that on the driver side and pumped from the bleeder valve upward to the brake junction and maaster cylinder and still nothing. Can you help
well I did that and even allowed two days to sit and run down but the reservoir level never moved. it stayed full for two days and then I kept trying other things
Hey Michael i watched another video and they showed how to do it. You get a 60 ml syringe and fill the syringe up, attach a piece of hose to fit tight on the bleeder valve at the tire then you back feed the fluid up to the master cylinder slowly after you open the bleeder valve. make sure the master cylinder is empty and clean before you do it.
@@johnwessinger7768 I guess I saw the same video because that's what I did too thanks for returning my email though I was getting pretty frustrated! Lol
Couple options. Pull out the bleed valve and inspect it. If it was over tightened or scored, it could start seeping. You can get a new bleed valve and try that. If there is no scoring, it might be a piece of sand or dirt that won't allow it to seal.

Does the brand of brake fluid matter?
Do you have to do both sides after I changed the front master cylinder?

What size diameter tubes do you use for all the bleeder valves?

Always bleed the brakes first, if you still can't build pressure then the master cylinder may need some love.

One side at a time is fine.

Master cylinder may need some attention.
Great vid where can i get vacuum pump and do i have to pump brake lever when using it
You don't need to pump, just open the bleeder valve. www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/aftermarket/XP-4575223.html
Tried bleeding my Honda trx300ex front brakes but no pressure is coming to the brakes what now?
Check for leaks and bleed it again.
What about my rear brake fluid
Do you have to do this to both sides
Yes. Bleed both sides.
Hey! I have a kfx700 and it the front disk brakes lock up! How do I fix it!
Flush and bleed!

Open up the the lower bleed valve and keep filling at the top until it comes out, then bleed as normal.
well I did that and even allowed two days to sit and run down but the reservoir level never moved. it stayed full for two days and then I kept trying other things
Did you ever figure this out because I am having the same problem

My brake lever will not get atiffer
Hi I bleed my brakes on a Yamaha wolverine and when I done I noticed is leaking fluid from the tread of the bleed valve
Is it leaking when it's tightened down all the way? Or only when you are actually opening it to bleed the system?
Is leaking when is tightening all the way

Thanks i would try .
I ordered 3 new bleed valve from you guys let's see if work . Thanks once again
Horrible video.
Well...we appreciate your candor. We're glad to see brake bleeding can inspire such passion.
