Thank you my brother. Im from D.C. . I went to the bronx evey summer. 69 ners , mock necks, quaterfields etc. In the bronx it was elbow play. The homies were nice wit it. I was there. 1972 those days. Anyway you are absolutely correct in your dialogue. Peace.
Ive boxed for 8 years and had a few amateur fights and I can say with full confidence that 52 blocks is legit and extremely useful in street fights and in boxing. You move like a boxer. Parries and forearm blocks are absolutely effective in defending bareknuckle punches. Great video
@gringodelsur7971 thanks, Brother. Positive energy is always appreciated. I appreciate you taking the time to watch & comment on the video. Harambee 🤙🏿
Peace Bro Shadow, long time no see. The last time I saw you; you gave me a manual on Tai Chi! Its a Beautiful and Pleasant Suprise seeing you on the Phone Screen bro. And I knew it was you before you said the Attribute. I will Subscribe and continue to be intune with the pulse of our Culture! Peace Bro. Bismi
@@52_VtK You ask what's the Science out here after leaving the Dens of Iniquity. Briefly stated: "Struggle". Succinctly stated : " An Up and Down process akin to the back and forth motion of the Pendulum ". But I have been navigating through it all with Intellect and Patience. I am Currently working on Power Plants making good money weekly. But we will see how long that last if the Department of Transportation have their way with their Bureaucratic Ideologies and Bureaucracies. Other than that I'm good and at Peace with Self. Until I travel with you in the Mind at another time Peace ✌ Shadow! Brother Bismi
I really appreciate your taking an interest in the system, Brother. I'm available for seminars and classes. Find me on Instagram @FiftytwoWays ToStrive. Looking forward to hearing from you. Harambee!
@@52_VtK First and foremost , great job! love the vid. Seeing you bounce off the wall took me back to some great memories training on the block. Brooklyn was the shhh back then. On the block we were taught you need to learn to defend all angles. Most thought it only meant the knuckle game(tore up from the floor up), but it actually meant becoming proficient in the knuckle, knife and gun game. Karate Lou(Kru Lou Maisonet) also added stick fighting. I kept away from guns, but love the knuckle, knife and stick game. If I may ask, did you grow up around Marcy, Thompkins or Sumner? We shared pretty much the same philosophy. You move the way we do... short, tight and sharp. No wasted movement.
@j.artavia1068 Peace, Brother. First, i really appreciate the positive energy, Brother, for real. As far as where i grew up, I'm from Jefferson Ave, down on the Reid Avenue/Malcolm X Blvd end. Harambee 🤙🏿

Powerful! Way to properly teach how to move off the center line! 👍
52 Positive was the best 52 block fighter. Lightskin pretty boy, from BKLYN,and his knuckle game was immaculate..
Reminds me of Shaolin 18 elbows ❤

Shadow it's the homie Nate holla at me asap
But with iron on the sides, thugs took no excuses
Therefore, your fifty-two handblocks was useless

Good song. But what happens when "shit" happens, & you don't have your gun? A little food for thought. Harambee!

People a lot of smack about 52 blocks, but, it seems like a great simple art.
