For real, it was the one thing that made my Blastheimer death rattle deck work lol "When you have 7 minions in the deck naturally, you'll draw a minion you want one way or another" lol
Thank you so much Firebat!! I've been looking for a Priest deck that's actually fun to play in this meta. Trying to play off meta decks right now is so hard because everything is imbalanced, but this actually feels like a solid deck that leaves you with choices to make and room to play, and the same for your opponent. In the current Hearthstone environment it often feels like that is asking too much.
He figured rigged fair game drawing 3 of his cards was better than the mage drawing 3 of their cards. And I agree, it was a better option in the moment, but not in hindsight.
I’m confused why he did it that turn and not the turn before. Why give him soul mirror when it basically full clears when you could have given it when it cleared nothing. I don’t think this is a hindsight though, it was just a throw IMO
You want understatted minions to play around Devolving Missiles, like solid battlecries or conditional discounts. You don't want overstatted dormant minions like Vulgar Homunculus, because the opponent can just turn them into 0 drops after they pop, and they even get advance warning to save the Devolving Missiles. So minions like Psychic Conjurer, Animated Broomstick, Wandmaker, Venomous Scorpid, Brittlebone Destroyer, Cabal Acolyte, Void Flayer, Xyrella, Kazakus Golem Shaper, Blademaster Samuro, Circus Medic, Burrowing Scorpid, Wretched Tutor, Steward of Scrolls, Skeletal Dragon, Flesh Giant, G'huun the Blood God, Primordial Protector, Carnival Clown, Blood of G'huun, and Darkmoon Rabbit are all very good against Devolving Missiles specifically. All the Old Gods and legendary dragons are also good.
@@allhailderpfestor4839 It is still good if it's corrupted. The warlock will destroy your deck anyway and with this he can't Y'Sharj (or something) it back. Plus he will be a warlock, so even if he burns five cards, you still win in fatigue because they tap a lot.
I can't help but compare Claw Machine to the warrior card Draconic Herald from the Tavern's of Time event. Draconic Herald was a 5/6 dragon that discovered a minion, gave it +3/+3, and put it on top of your deck. Meanwhile, Claw Machine gets rush AND draws the minion instead of putting it atop your deck. It's neat seeing Draconic Herald - a class-specific, event-only card meant to spice up arena - get powercrept by a random neutral in a future expansion.
I wonder how claw machine fits into this meta. It kills some key minions but it also gets countered by noble sac (and to a lesser extent smite and mirror entity) and doesn't like to be played off curve or without minions on board.
No benefit in that hand switch. You can outheal and outvalue the mage only to throw by giving them value and not even using yours. Illucia was zero mana.
Leaving him at 1 hp so poetic for the deck, almost good enough.
To be fair, it was DEFINITELY good enough. That Jaina got Coldara Drake from Font to activate her Mordresh ALSO from Font. Get outta here Jaina
@@spairus4492 It helped when Jaina was gifted a board clear and heal from Firebat though

Never gonna stop calling it Frazzled Frenchman now
who here is really good at those toy claw machine games?
I have won 1 (ONE) prize from those machines, they are basically gambling
Not me. I wish tho
I can always win the game where you hook the bowling pin to stand it up
🪝 🎳
Claw machine games are rigged. Most of the time when you put your money in, the claw is weak. Only sometimes does it actually clamp shut really tight.
Depends on the machine
Claw machine is no joke a hidden gem sometimes, cool to see it shine here in front of an audience
For real, it was the one thing that made my Blastheimer death rattle deck work lol

Firebat is one of the few people where I actually want to go watch the full stream to hear his random musings and dad jokes.

you're so right
Puzzling to waste the 0 mana Illucia at the end of turn, being able to spend 0 of your opponent's cards.....
He threw hard there
Sometimes it's about denying your opponent an answer to your board... this was not one of those times

He definitely should have done it one turn earlier.
Plays into a perfect soul mirror board and lets his opponent heal for free 9 hp. What was even the thought process lmfao.
Draw 3 cards for 0 Mana. The value looks so good on paper
World champion thought process!
Forebat was so salty these games that he sounded like Krip with good rng
i prefer Fireskin tbh
@@hifushiri You should get that checked out, sounds inflamed
Thank you for the normal hearthstone content. Best channel.

Wow, I literally just finished part 1. Amazing timing from this Incendiary Chiroptera
Imagine a world where you hit illucia off ghuun and you play it with 10 mana vs a warlocl and steal his jaraxxus lol
Imagine how good it would be if you Illicia then play uncorrupted Ticktus to burn their Jaraxxus

We love you firebat, keep being you!
love creative deck docktors where creativity meets high lvl performance aka firebat
My favorite streamer right here, he always cracks me up.
Eagerly waited for this one
Fire the Kazuka got a surprised laugh out of me. Amazing
More peak hearthstone from the best hs streamer!

Even knowing mispronouncing cards is classic Firebat. Psych Split was killing me this video.
Loving the longer videos
9:40 just a mage using 26 mana in a turn, not too bad.
The broken part about reckoning is it kills the minion before frenzy triggers, biggest counter for samuro
Frazzled Frenchmen xD
The mustache nerf probably caused the 1hp loss
that ending was crazy!!
Sike Split, Frazzled Frenchman, Man Rick
That random hero power dragon into fire-eye was some serious bullshit, though.
It's bullshit and annoyingly not uncommon. I feel like I've seen that combination off Font like a lot.
You rock James!
waaaat!
So i watch firebat on this youtube channel for years and that the first time seeing Rachels face! 24:45
Rachel looks good
thumbs up!
Part two giving us that Rachel cameo worth the wait and souls progress to this priest deck 👍🏼
You have been chosen, you must go!
Ran a budget Rush/handbuff warrior before the premade decks came out. Claw Machine was a legit card, only hampered by being 6 mana.
lamb chop gang rise up
If a devolving missiles Strays off its Mark and hits the enemy hero do they lose their golden hero status?🤔
Didn’t know Socrates played Hearthstone @5:20
26:01 can someone explain what he means? how does the opponent get a 3/4
The other secret possibility, galloping saviour
Galloping Savior is a secret that summons a 3/4 taunt when the opponent plays 3 cards in one turn
oh yeah huh, I just figured it had to be OMY
Why don't you run Soothsayer's Caravan?
25:15 I thought Rachel was a dietician no?
i miss the old firebat upload times. then I'm not watching then right before bed late at night :(
Watch that first game and then remind yourself that this guy is a former hearthstone world champion. Yikes.
Devolving missles giving you a bad time? Simple, go wide and cry when they aoe your board
Is claw machine the new engagement?
It feels like this deck can’t win from behind
clawmachine go brrr
What was the point in playing Illucia that first game?
To lose, can't imagine why else
I run claw machine in deathrattle nzoth hunter and it is such a sleeper
shaved engagement
Tempo Priest with no Tempo Enforcer? Smh my head
Je suis offensé!

Firegirlfriendbat has arrived
wow claw machine is the best after all
Hot bat summer 🥵🥵
Hey Ed, can you tell Firebat to tell Rachel that her dress looks fantastic for me?
It's pronounced "seye-kee", not psych.
Also you're adorable
