It was so good! We went back at a later time but the power was out and the staff was sent home for the day :( Hopefully we’ll make our way there soon enough!

yes there were so many people everywhere we went! But the weather was perfect and the warm season was coming to an end so it's understandable.

I think this was one of my favorite "chapters" you've posted so far. First off, the BBQ looked fantastic -- it is very different from Texas BBQ so don't worry about comparisons. I loved that they had a variety of good sides which to me is a weakness of Texas BBQ.
I'm so sorry you had to drive through Kansas. Kansas and Oklahoma are my two least favorite states to drive through. They are so monotonous and just wear you down. Plus, I had an experience breaking down traveling through OK while there were some "escaped killers" loose at the same time. It's a harrowing story to be told over beers.
Boulder is amazing, as is most of Colorado. I'm thrilled that y'all had a great time there. Jayla, I too would have skipped the rope bridge and rock climb, so don't feel any the lesser for it. I'm glad that Artur had a good time though. I LOVE Colorado and hope you explore other areas of the state. The country is beautiful and there is so much to do outdoors, from hiking to horseback riding to kayaking to downhill biking.
It's interesting that y'all are traveling with a car now. Are you going to do that going forward, or just through certain sections. Too bad your RV doesn't have enough power to pull the car. That's the best of both worlds.

Hey John good to hear from you! And thank you this video has been our favorite too so far! We are getting more comfortable on camera and understand a little better of what to show in the videos to make it more entertaining. You're right on about the bbq. Yeah it's not the first time we drove through Kansas and it definitely sucks driving through there lol. Oh wow that would have been scary with the killers on the loose!
Jayla was fine not doing the rock climb and after boulder we continued for another couple weeks in Colorado so the next couple videos should be all about it! Utah was our favorite state for a while but Colorado took the #1 spot.
Traveling with the car has been really nice! And the RV has plenty of power to tow it, but we would need to get a trailer for it because only certain cars can be pulled while all the wheels are on the ground. Unfortunately, our car can't do that and we don't want to deal with the trailer and the added length. Honestly, it's been so nice driving separate because we only drive for a couple hours at a time so it gives us some alone time lol. It takes a while to fill up the RV with gas so while I'm doing that Jayla can easily go get something to eat. Also, it's nice to not worry about whether the gas station is big enough for an RV with a tow vehicle and makes it easy to drive through small towns. When we get to a camp spot we don't need to unhook anything or worry about size restrictions (because there are plenty of those). The best part is that we can leave the RV somewhere and go in our car to explore!

@@JaylaAndArtur ~ I haven't laughed so hard in a while knowing that your remembered my Oklahoma story about "The escaped killers...!!". I forgot I told you about it. I'm thrilled to hear that traveling is going well. Has any of your families expressed concern after the mainstream news obsession with Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie. Hopefully y'all have been a bit more "unplugged", but it's been crazy online. Avoid it if possible. Can't wait to see where is next on your itinerary -- and yes, your videos are extremely entertaining/amazing. Don't feel like you have to do too much more editting.
