Wow Feinberg brings out the horn calls in the left hand in the first piece, amazing.
Incredibly musical, an extremely powerful anti-these to robotic piano performances unfortunately often witnessed in today's music business. Feinberg is an art, whilst some others are sports.
True and rare Schumann. I knew him in Bach and was already a reference of the best, but his Schumann a revelation.
for me too, total revelation!
He gets the Prophet Bird beautifully. So often played (often very well!) as a weird Chopin.
It's literal and a nice stately Blackbird song! Ego has to take a back seat to the composer and his ear and respect for nature. Of course Schumann could have heard a Starling mimic his own playing, those birds have a great way of poking fun at our hubris and contraptions.
Thank you!
He was exquisite!
Incomparable!
Desde luego que es incomparable, jaja
Wonderful. Thanks for putting it here. Do you know what year it was recorded?
It was some time in the late 1930s.
Magical. (The Prophet BIrd)
yes, it is my favourite!
