I flew on Concorde once (well, twice as it was round trip) from KJFK to EGLL and back. It was approx 35 years ago (i was 10 or 11) and the few things i remember are: 1. We flew so high you actually see the curvature of the earth 2. The cabin was very small. The windows too (as seen in your photos). The windows also got really hot because of the friction caused by the speed of concord. 3. The food was amazing. And it started at the gate and continued thru the trip. It was an endless supply of gourmet cuisine! Security was a lot different back then so we were allowed to visit the cockpit at cruise. I recall the flight deck being very cramped. And it had gauges and dials everywhere. Flying on concord was a once in a life time experience. We will miss the old bird. She truly was a revolutionary marvel. Great flight…..always enjoy your videos….. thanks for sharing!
Hi @Blackbox711, that was a fantastic stream! I can't get over how much detail is in this Concorde addon. I read about all the features on the FSLabs website, but seeing it all in action is phenomenal. I'm really looking forward to the day when they release it for MSFS
Some planes passed the speed of sounds during ww2.. the problem is that in the pressure wave controls are inverted due to the drag and the wing profile and most pilots crashed unable to control the aircraft
thanks for your detailed video! And I think it's a pity that the VCS is compulsory. I really miss starting the concorde X from cold&dark step by step by myself. Hope that FSL will give players more control on this plane in the future😊
Hello, what is your setup? your cockpit textures look sharper compared to mine. And I often have flashing lights in the cockpit. I have an R7 5800x3D and an RTX3080Ti.
Hi BB711, what a nice demonstration of your pedagogy, you are transforming an extreme complexe aircraft in an "almost" reachable add-on for everydody. Thumbs up for you as you are a true person loving your job and willing to transmit it to the youth. Marc from LFBO.
Hey Marc. Thank you very much for your kind words. The new Concorde addon is another masterpiece by FSLabs as if allows to quickly get the knowledge to fly it without having to worry about all the complex procedures in the background. Happy Landings 👍🏼
@@Blackbox711 Thanks for your answer. I will like to buy this wondeful aircraft and I know the seriousness of FS Labs. Maybe I will wait for the FS2020 version, but still it's very tempting to get my hands on this truly superb bird. I think your video influenced me on the "bright side" and I will buy this Concorde. Just one question about the push-back you are using, is it a payware? Are you satisfied with it? I can't find a realistic and "simple" push-back software. A bientôt. Marc
Hi Blackbox! I've been a subscriber for years now since the pandemic. If I may ask, what's still better as the study level grade A320 aircraft? FSLabs or Fenix A320? And just to add to that. Is the Fenix A320 MCDU same as the actual one? Asking because when I tried X-plane 11 A320 Flight Factor before there are some differences on its MCDU compared to the real one
I'm planning to refresh my knowledge, skills, flows, and systems depth again since finishing my type rating years ago before the pandemic hence the questions
Hi. The FSLabs has a MCDU layout which is very similar to my airline one. But that may be different to yours. The FENIX has pretty much the same level as the FSLabs. Although the FENIX has more failures included. If you want to practice for real procedures then I would recommend the FENIX with a tool called FSiPanel. All the best wishes and happy landings
@@Blackbox711 Interesting response thank you! Just discovered FSiPanel a few minutes ago before you had commented. Snapchats are really helpful to save time and get down to business without setting and configuring up everything else again. Furthermore, how's the data accuracy of Fenix's MCDU? In X-plane 11 A320 Flight Factor four years ago. The rad navs wasn't working, can't create custom waypoints, very poor handling of holding entries and exits, there are missing data or boxes when doing the basic DIFFSRIP and to name a few
Having been in an actual concorde cockpit it comes quite close. I was in the cockpit on a bright summer day and the cockput was very dim. Altough I suspect it will be a little bit more accurate once released for MSFS.
If that is something that is a nuisance to you then the addon isn’t going to make you happy. I personally don’t get worked up about that because I focus on other things.

@@stabilo3170 I use GSX Pro. It is a good addon regarding pushback. Also has lots of other features. Another tool would be FS2Crew Pushback.
@@Blackbox711 Thanks a lot 👍
Is this coming into MSFS 20 and 24
Yes
it was a very fun stream! will you fly it any more?
I will do more flights for sure

I can only imagine how the MSFS version will look. WIll be an instant buy.
I don't like the FSLabs cockpit. Too dark. The DC Designs cockpit is better although the textures are not great.

I know it's P3D (which is essentially 15 years old). But the textures on this $80 module sucks. Polygons everywhere too.
