Maya Ketchi Deer Dance @ Uxbenka Maya site

As part of the Cocoa Festival 2023, the organizers held another activity at the Uxbenka Maya site at Santa Cruz Village in the Toledo District. Apart from the speeches, there were traditional Maya Ketchi dances performed by the Santa Cruz dance group. The marimba musicians provided the pertinent pieces that the dancers followed. There were also several booths where local food and drinks were on sale.
