monkeymintaka I‘m sure she means it in : it doesn’t allow you to print & cut the whole A4 Sheet because of the black borders :) The Cameo allows you to use more of the Paper than the cricut (as far as I‘m aware of)

Hi. I use the clear sticky paper setting and adjust under materials to times 2. Set dial to custom to find this. Also, close the top lid part when you are cutting and the scanning problems with gloss paper should stop. Hope this helps. Took me soo sheets to figure it out. This is for a cut all the way through die cut. For sticker kiss cut not all the way through try just the one cut on clear sticker paper not x 2. XKaren @lillbitscreations

How funny, I just discovered the trick with making your own template last week on my own... and it was so stressful to actually make it work and now I see this video which would have made my whole thinking process unnecessary 😅🙄😂 the only thing is... doesn’t the Cricut limit you to 17.2 x 23.55 in the dimensions? Even if you make those black squares?…
PS, for your pins, I'd recommend using larger backings as I used to make small wood studs with tiny backings/posts (kind of like a smaller scale wood pin), and the backings eventually came off. Now for a 12mm wood stud I use a 10mm backing and I've had no issues. Obviously, you don't need to go almost as big as your pin, but a little larger will definitely sturdy things up for longtime use. :)
