This actually hurt the heart to listen to. The pain was for her. Listening to this, I just wanted to hold and comfort her. It's a shame that the only time I'd see her is when I was asleep though. Would she be in my dreams? Would I be able to embrace her in that realm and tell her that she was welcome to be my yandere and love me all she wants? I would welcome this arrangement for sure with how my life is. Being alone for 15 years wears on a person.

when they said cuddle monster I imagined a sleep paralysis demon who just. hugs you really tightly. all the other demons stand at the edge of the bed, a set of glowing eyes staring at you frozen and helpless. this demon nuzzles into your neck and mumbles about how warm you are. you could move if you tried but they are _strong_ and every time you do they just squeeze you harder, so you stop trying. Not that they’re hurting you or anything. They’re always so gentle. They’ve never hurt you, besides the occasional chin-poke from the horns. They aren’t as sharp as you would expect. Like a goat’s, but shorter and rounder. They’re maybe...kind of....cute?? In a weird way?? Not that it means anything. Demons can be cute. It’s an objective observation. It’s not like you _like_ having them pressed up against you. Or the way their tail wraps around your waist. Or the way they purred when you tried stroking their hair on a whim (you’ve done it every night since). You’re just thankful they’re not interested in eating your soul. You can put up with it for now. It could be worse.
