Purchased on Amazon and liked it so much purchased 2 more. Forget about high priced security company contracts, make your own system with these user friendly excellent cameras.
Thank you for a great review. I have watched many reviews on this camera and it seems like I will be doing the purchase. So, three quick questions it seems your battery life has been a month or more then a month? Also, without the advanced features the App is free and I imagine pretty useable with just the basic features is this correct? I have read that the alert function never works well on this (Amazon reviews). Do you find that to be true?
The Alert functions are part of the AI and over all pretty good it will recognize your car and people but sometimes make a mistake and see snow or a headlight and flag it as a pet in the alert. Those alerts are off on the free cloud storage I'm now on and I haven't even noticed as it's not what I wanted the cameras for. You have the ability to go live and take still shots or record live longer videos whenever you want and they record right on your device. I'm enjoying the free cloud service so far as I'm clearing off the videos at the end of the day so not running into any issues. As far as battery life super cold snap where I am and I did get over a month on first charge, but I have now realized how to extend that. The full color night vision doesn't use the IR lights so that saves alot on battery also sensitivity settings for motion, and if you point at your front street and have alot of traffic or people walking by of course you are going to trigger more events. Can even set a sleep schedule so your camera goes off duty say when the street is full of school kids or whatever. Have mine set not to cool down in between clips so that if something is happening it will record again right away if there is still movement. It has missed the occasional thing, sometimes catches my mailman walking away but missed them walking up, think it has to do with snow or sun glare or that I don't have the motion sensitivity set strongly. I'm very happy with mine huge step up from alarm company one I had. I say go for it start with one and it can be used in the house or outside you will definetly find a use for it after seeing how it works. I put mine in a place where I can easily get at them for charging as well. By all means come back on the channel and tell us how you like yours. 👍

@@Glenn_123 20 second clips on the free cloud but if you turn off to no cool down it will continue combining to 40 second clips or more as long as there is still movement. More clips but I want to see what took place so I have it set to not rest in between clips, if there is something happening it's recording.
I have 3 of these cameras and they work great and hold a charge for a long time. I put one at my front door outside. I have a neighbor upstairs who didn't want to be recorded smoking by my apt door on camera. I started noticing that when he went out to smoke, he would turn towards my camera stop the notification on his phone. I could hear my notification alert on his phone instead of mine. I contacted Dzees and they said only one person can use the app at a time. I then realized he had hacked my phone. Scary! Just beware that these cameras work great, but smart phones are hack able. I have videotaped his actions over and over. On my third factory reset on my phone. So fustrating!
Does the light automatically come on at night? I want color night vision but I don't want the light to come on. Thank you!
How are they now? I want to purchase but not sure I see a nice sale atm
I still stand by them all 3 of mine are working fantastic. Can save buying the double pack 2 cams but yes have to look through and compare prices.
