I've been looking at getting the FatBoy bags. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the mounting hardware. How do these hold up? Also, my bike is blacked out, are the latches removable? I'd like to be able to powdercoat them.

On the website for the TKY quick release hard bags for VTX1800C, it says that there is an option for speakers. Where would the speakers mount? I can't seem to find any pictures of it

Over two thousand dollars for molded plastic. An extra two hundred for gloss black paint. You can take a long walk off a short bridge, thieves. I'll wear a backpack. You know if you loosen the shoulder straps it just rests on the passenger seat. You will forget its there. Or waste money, up to you. Safe riding.

The bike specific bags say they are quick release. Are the universal ones quick release as well?
The universal bags are not quick release. They are bolt on.
