I am a person who loves watching bloody violence, but dislikes mature humor and political jokes. That's why Happy Tree Friends is the best for me, but other adult cartoons - nah. I initially enjoyed Mr. Pickles too, because a dog with guns is a great idea, but the crude humor and references to satanism are not for me.
Well, I would say a perfect cartoon for me would something like The Lion King with Happy Tree Friends level of violence. Including hyenas eating prey alive of course. :)

The ghosts themselves are based on many famous actors and actresses. There is Vincent, a ghost based on Vincent Price because he has the same name, appearance, mustaches and way of speaking as Vincent Price. Another one called Pete, this ghost is based on Peter Lorre because he has the same appearance, eyes and way of speaking as Peter Lorre. And here's a last one, the Captain Hans, it's a shark captain pirate ghost based on Hans Conried because he has the same name and way of speaking as Hans Conried and he has a hook on the left fin also because Hans Conried voiced the Captain Hook in Walt Disney's Peter Pan (1953) (because in the Walt Disney version of Peter Pan, the Captain Hook has his hook on his left hand.) in addition to playing in live-action movies.
