My favourite memory would be from when I was in Year 3 and made a torch. It didn't work but it was fun. Could you show us how to make a torch that buzzes using this foil circuit please?
We had to do something very much like this for science projects. not necessarily for science fair, back when I was in 4th grade in the mid to late '80s.
Thank you dave hax because of you i didn't need to search for some science projects i will just go to your channel and find some interesting videos.... thanks a lot😊😊😊
Hi Dave. Thanks for the video. Wondered if you had a spec for the rheostat or source for the pieces. I am planning on doing this for a large kids group project. Thanks again.
I remember a hasbro game like this where you make a little contraption and you press certain things down and it does stuff like buzzing, lights and even a little glider thingy.
You can also use foil to make a capacitor. Would be interesting to see what values os resistance, capacitance, and indutance you can get out of a sheet of aluminum foil.
We are using foil because kitchen foil is a good conductor of electricity. The buzzer motor and bulb gained an electric charge from the kitchen foil when the switch is activated.
live love lush Why? It's already been done by so many other people. Wouldn't it be better for Dave to do interesting, unique things rather than just repeating something we can already see be so many others?
CrankyPants that's true... but I think it would be interesting to see his spin on it. To see how he would hack his way around to get the perfect finished product. I don't know... maybe he can make the foil ball useful other than just making it like a decoration.😊
Thank you so much for this amazing idea. I will do this for my school project it will definently win I love this so much. I'm so happy i saw this video thank you for saving my life I didn't know what to make. TYSM👍😋

What the resister can do to the items: Can increase/decrease the max speed and acceleration to the motor Can add more light to the lightbulb Can add more sound to the buzzer
I suggest you to use a lm317 regulator ic for a stable controlled voltage or even a 555 timer is a great thing, because it will create a pwm signal and thats much better than the potentiometer only
