Showing up five years late for work, one should think that would cause Gibbs to go ballistic. Anyways, without Tony there's no magic. Having said that, it was THE cliff hanger of the century, but also a comeback devoid of imagination. I don't know the English word for what this really was, but it seem like it was dreamed up in a hurry. Well, the beauty is back, but like I said, the magic is gone.

Guess it's become just another ironic comic twist, that unexpected return from the dead -- but why be surprised? After all, anyone familiar with Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" remembers that classic line from the village players' comically incompetent production, "Pyramus and Thisbe" at the end of the last act: "Pyramus (having just killed himself and collapsed on the stage floor): 'Now I am dead! Tongue, lose thy life! Moon, take thy flight!! Now die, die, die, die, die, die, die!'" (In some productions he stabs his already supposedly dead body to death just to revel in the comic absurdity of it all. Ahhhhhhh, theee-ah-tah!). Oh, well, theee-ah-tah being theee-ah-tah, who really cares, just so long as this time, the plot's got a believable enough twist for us to satisfy ourselves that Ziva wasn't really killed, she and Mossad just had to make it look that way for some obscure reason the writers are still working on - and why not? Ahhhf-tah awwwllllllllllll that's theee-ah-tah! It's there to be enjoyed, not pondered over too much!!

Showing up five years late for work, one should think that would cause Gibbs to go ballistic. Anyways, without Tony there's no magic. Having said that, it was THE cliff hanger of the century, but also a comeback devoid of imagination. I don't know the English word for what this really was, but it seem like it was dreamed up in a hurry. Well, the beauty is back, but like I said, the magic is gone.
