Crystal has found her voice within the group, holding her own after one of the women questions what she stands for. She soon finds she can’t win them all, however, when her need for control gets the best of her and threatens her relationship with her brother.
Introduced to the group through her friend, Kyle, newcomer Annemarie is a force to be reckoned with. I am still trying to figure out her last story of robbery. Taking ten thousand dollars cash out of the bank to shop with a shopping cart, and then not noticing her bag was missing until she rolled herself to the cashier. It makes no sense. None of what she says makes sense.
One moment the group tells you to be honest then the next moment they are offended when Garcelle is being honest about her feelings. Attacking someone’s child goes deep. I don’t blame Garcelle for not trusting these women.

I'm glad Garcelle isn't letting them off the hook that easily. I wouldn't trust them either. Based on Dorit's comments, she doesn't seem remorseful at all. Especially lying about not laughing. We saw that she did.
I don't even think it was about not letting them off the hook. I think she was genuinely trying to be honest w/them that she's still weary after how they did her son, AND didn't defend her or her son when it came to Diana at the reunion.

I’m not even a mother and I can understand Garcelle’s feelings. If it were one of their children, they wouldn’t let it go. Dorit’s reaction says a lot about her character. To attack Garcelle instead of trying to understand or empathize isn’t becoming of a friend. Also, to tell her to get over it because it’s been a year while continuously bringing up your robbery from a year ago and having an issue with your husband basically saying to move on from it is wild.

You can have ptsd and your emotions from the robbery that you feel is traumatic, but who are you to dictate what is traumatizing to someone else and how/when they should move on from it. (and by you, I’m referring to Dorit not you specifically). It’s also probably deeper for Garcelle than just cursing at her child after that situation her children faced backlash on the internet and in that particular moment she saw her “friends” laugh at her child instead of support them. That’s a very shitty place to be in, and she’s allowed to have her feelings about it; however, the issue here is Dorit is upset about those feelings and basically saying don’t have them because we apologized. That is where it becomes an issue. Also, her saying to Kyle that they’re on a reality show and wanting to know her business isn’t really comparable. She asks Kyle questions and tries to understand the situation, etc. If Dorit would have taken that approach and asked her questions and tried to understand her feelings, I’m sure that conversation would have gone better. Instead she chose to lead with her anger.

Garcelle has nothing going on in her life (other than her movie) during the seasons she was in. So like Sutton and Crystal, they will shift their focus to someone else to stay relevant. The last two seasons it was Erika and now Kyle.
This part made me so angry. The fact that Dorit doesn't understand why Garcelle is still hurt after a year, tells your how wrong she is. Honestly, I think her reaction is because she truly feels guilty about not doing anything to defend a child while a drunk was attacking him. And not saying anything when her husband and friends where laughing about it. Making it about herself was so low, and saying that it's been a year. You can't put a time line on how you as a mother should or shouldn't feel when someone hurts your child. Honestly I wish Garcelle had been more strong on her comments when Dorit said that, but you could see that she was hurt by Dorits reaction and I think thats why she didn't go deeper. And the fact that Dorit keeps saying that she's still traumatized about her "home invasion" after a year is laughable and hypocrite.

I think Dorit feels bad that she didn’t do anything on camera and resents that Garcelle yet again has exposed her. Garcelle exposed Dorit when Dorit told the group that her children are exposed to POC and some of the people they love the most are POC. Then when she said her staff is multiracial and Garcelle clocked dorit and said “oh the staff”. That pissed dorit off and then she switched to …my mothers bf is Black. When she was on WWHL w Garcelle she tried to appear sincere with another apology as the laughing scene played.
but I don't think dorit understands what a sincere apology entails. an apology lacks value without humility. a real apology requires curbing your own sense of importance enough to make space for the other to heal. garcelle isn't being nasty or aggressive towards dorit but dorit still can't handle garcelle's honesty. not garcelle's problem. being accountable irritates dorit and she just wants it to be forgotten.

*kyles marriage breakdown and newfound independence
*suttons midlife crisis, temper tantrums and hatred towards kyle
&
*Doritos marriage troubles and struggle to understand Kyle’s newfound independence
The rest have mild storyline’s (garcelle and her sons), (Erika rebuilding her life) and crystal idk really we will see..
But overall nothing that I find super interesting or wild. Hopefully this season picks up. Episode 3 down and it’s pretty mild compared to past seasons like season 4 with Glanville and LVP and the infamous season 5 with Rinna and Kim Richard’s…. I hope the season will pick up

It’s because she knows Garcelle has class and won’t stoop to her level especially since she knows Garcelle has the onus of not being “aggressive” or “angry”…why would anyone be “angry” or “hurt” about a friend being open about having reservations about her family as a mother.
Not everything is about race. And Dorit is incredibly vocal about with her opinions and she has been in all the years she’s been in housewives.

OK, hear me out. Isn't it typical for certain types of women to center themselves when you try to explain how you have been hurt by them. Dorit is doing exactly what her type does, making sure that everything is centered around her, I'm not surprised.
