For a while it just didn't click for me that they were seeing Mama Mione at the same time as the image appeared on the screen in the video, since TH-cam editing is often like that, so I thought they were just laughing weirdly hard at the thing Simone said right before that.
I was struggling to figure out why "but the PRISONERS are LIVING THERE!" was so goddamned funny!

Oh my god. I just investigated the warlock episode to see if you all were right about the chase scene (I figured you had to be!) and it’s a million times more bananas than any of us were ready for. Buckle up.
There is no tennis until nearly minute 14. The rest of the episode takes place in a bunch of ruins that are maaaaaybe Stonehenge? Finally, it’s tennis time. They reuse the exact same clip 3 times in less than 2 minutes. Velma lends our hero her glasses mid-match because that’s how glasses work. Shaggy and scooby run into the warlock and hide in a locker, emerging disguised as tennis players. They run onto the court and end up playing a doubles match. Chase time. Scooby ends up RIDING ON THE BACK of scary dog. They crash into a hot dog stand. Scooby slurps down several hot dogs, including 2 through his ears. They unmask the warlock and catch his accomplice. It’s revealed that the tennis hero man they wanted to lose was given special glasses that made the warlock visible only to him. But only sometimes. It’s nonsense. Episode over.

The moment of realization upon seeing Iron Face's face was the *most incredible scream ever*
The more Simone talks about the plot of the episodes the more i slowly realise I've seen them. Like when she said the warlock had a dog it immediately clicked into my mind and i was back in my childhood house watching scooby doo on that shitty tv in the living room. I wonder where that tv is. I could almost hug that big hunk of plastic.

One of my favorite Scooby-Doo theories is that the whole show takes place after some sort of worldwide catastrophe. This helps to explain the sparse populace and people's willingness to believe in monsters.
to be fair people in real life are VERY willing to believe in monsters. also there are plenty of entries in the Scooby-Doo franchise where monsters and ghosts are real, so it's not that far-fetched or people to believe in them in the Scooby-Doo universe.

I do enjoy the format drawfee uses often, of "give them a prompt and let them go". Its very creative and silly. But i do miss that thing they were doing, "draw X in the style of Y", it was a refreshing change.

I remember all these episodes, I'm a total Scooby Doo nerd and have watched the entirety of every series. These are from The Scooby Doo Show (a simple name, though that is what they called it) and that series has the best titles, one of my favorites "There's a Demon Shark in the Foggy Dark". I've been waiting for this episode.

Everyone's laugh is so full and bellowing. It makes my heart full.
Mama Mione was housing the prisoners on skull island until they could get new identification and smuggled out. So The Skull Island Tourist attraction would have messed that up.
The tennis star just bought the mansion (even though it had been in his family for generations and had recently been sold cuz of money issues) but needed the prize money to keep it.

yeah, that's the thing with classic era Scooby-Doo episodes (but also just Scooby-Doo in general). it sounds INSANE and makes no sense out of context or just by the plot synopsis/episode description, but if you watch the episodes it actually kinda makes sense.
For some reason, Jacob's dog reminds me of the way the dogs looked in that episode of Powerpuff Girls where everyone gets turned into dogs. I don't think I said "dogs" enough in that sentence...

I've gotten so used to the Drawfee gang always being so fun and happy to roll with whatever crazy thoughts that come into their head, that it makes the utter insanity that is classic Scooby Doo surprising even them all the more hilarious. I think Old Iron Face alone broke the team, between suddenly surfing on sharks and Old Mama Mione's face, I think Drawfee got beat this time around

My favorite thing about this episode is Nathan, If Scooby doo was a comic book they were making into a cartoon, I would expect shaggy to have a voice like his, don't know why.

Hey, you Scooby-Goobers should draw some sexy ideas. To be more specific, some sexualized versions of abstract concepts. They can be philosophies or science things. For example, egoistic altruism making the “come hither” motion, or Newton’s Third Law sunbathing.

Ok so I’m a huge scooby-doo fan. I have seen everyone of the episodes mentioned multiple times throughout the years. This is my favorite episode. Ever.

I think this is the hardest I've heard someone laugh in a very long time I love Nathan so much
it has been years and I still just don't understand why exactly Nathan is so utterly overtaken with humor at the moment he does but it's delightful nonetheless
all of the monsters in this episode were from season 2 of "The Scooby-Doo Show", which was later repackaged as season 3 of the original show "Scooby-Doo: Where Are You?". kind of a shame too, because the other series and the movies all have so much potential! i'd say they could make a part 2 where they touch on other entries in the Scooby-Doo franchise, but i doubt that'll happen since this episode is currently 4 years old and isn't a particularly popular one tbh.
now don't get me wrong, they choose some really good villains to draw! i'm just saying it is kinda a let down that all of the monsters featured were from the same season of the same show.

It's not terrible though the beginning is horribly slow to get into anything and the animation is kind of dogshit at first but it gets interesting and the animation gets a lot better real quick.

Jacob or Julia or whoever colored in the tennis warlock's dog (not Nathan) I love you dearly but god that green tooth is messing with me. Also draw video game characters with real jobs, like a shy guy who got their GED or something.

I think this is the hardest I've laughed at a Drawfee episode in weeks. Simone is awesome, and I genuinely hope she has a chance to guest star more in the future. Also I love Scooby Doo, so double bonus points.
