ebay has always told me that just because others sold it or have it listed doesnt mean you are allowed. Their rules seem to be "on the fly" or they just are miss informed.
eBay does so many things a__ backwards! The bots should be scanning listings BEFORE they go live for any violations, sellers notified-No penalties. If listed again, then you get penalties!!! So many times there is no way for us to verify if items will be flagged, therefore punishing people for breaking rules they have no way of knowing is beyond ridiculous. The bottom line is this will continue until we sue them for lost revenue and stress.
This is exactly why, after 20 successful years on eBay, I quit the site. I sell full time to earn a living and to support my household. I never had any issues personally with eBay, but every single day I heard about the arbitrary suspensions of other sellers for no valid reason. It's difficult enough to manage the ups and downs of being a full time re-seller, but eBay's level of nonsense was more than I wanted to deal with. The simple fact that they would suspend a seller's account (especially a long term seller!) without any human review is appalling. I switched to Poshmark (I sell women's clothing) and have been 100% happy there. I had a brief thought of cross-posting to eBay in December, but this is not the first "eBay suspended my account" video I've seen in the new year, and I got over the desire to return to eBay quickly. Not saying this is the right decision for anyone other than me, but it's definitely not a platform I plan to return to ever again.
My account got lowered from 3,000 items and $200,000 to 200 items and $1,000. Because a single buyer opened 3 false claims that put me into "Below Standard", I fought the cases and won. I contacted support and they said they know the claims were later decided in my favor but I have to wait 3 MONTHS to begin selling like before. fml, I was restricted 22 days ago. Went from $33,000 in sales last month to, MAYBE $200 this month.
Not only do you lose during the 3 mos, but eBay loses without your sales. It does not make sense to make you wait for 3 mos to resume your prior sales.
I understand your frustration and agree with your argument. What I have a problem with is the fact that you threw another seller under the bus to bolster your argument. Getting another item/seller flagged for investigation isn't going to help you; it just creates a problem for someone who isn't involved in the fight. Further, one example means nothing. Had you compiled a list of the number of people with Proactive listings that didn't get flagged and asked why they came after you, that would have been more of an argument and would not have harmed anyone. Handling it the way you did makes you look like the person that wants to bring everyone down with them, and it's a bad look
No matter what they say, they never lift the suspension! I've been through this multiple times because I sell only health and beauty and ebay has done this to me on numerous occasions. Never listen to the two Rep. Not only does the warnings always count, they can't lift suspensions either. Because of this, I don't do global shipping on any of my items
Ebay can be quite the challenge to deal with, for sure Jon! This is one reason I cross post all listings $20 & up, and now have an antique booth. This way, I'm not dependent on any one platform.
I remember telling you about this 2 Years ago happening to me. I almost lost my account over HBA. The sales was great and it was a hard loss of revenue for me to eliminate from my resourcing, but eBay is so ambiguous with the listing policies of HBA that listing large amounts of it is just to risky. The information on prohibited items is not even complete and than similar to this situation items not even prohibited getting me warnings. eBay needs to have the system Programed to auto tell you this item is not allowed and prevent it from the start without punishing unknowing listers. The tech is there they just need to put someone in the chair. Like I said 2 years ago they had pages and pages of the item listed that finally got me suspended. eBay turned a death ear to me on that fact and cared less for my suggestions. I see people doing great with HBA and that's wonderful, its just not for me. Glad you got it taken care of.
No sweat sir! Many other items to sell other than ANYTHING that has potential to cause issues of this magnitude! Dude, it simply is not worth trying to sell, especially repeatedly after already encountering significant trouble. Flip that stuff elsewhere or even locally in person or use it yourself/give it to family that may need it and be done with it. Pursue other items to resell which will never have risks of this sort of thing and go nuts with them instead!
Thank you as always for your knowledge! I’ve got a few VERO’s for pictures that were stock photos that have me scared to death that 3rd strike and I’ll be out! I really had no idea of the hold music thing and how they could hear you just that they muted themselves! Very interesting!
This is scary. It seems like they take down your listings immediately for violations, but other sellers are not scrutinized. Is it a person in the back office who has a vendetta? Is it a bot that has the ability to target certain accounts? Is the bot directed by a person in the back office to target certain accounts? The transparency here is woefully lacking, and it’s really shocking.
Unfortunately it's hard to get ebay to fix their mistakes. I bet if you have an issue in the future, you will still have those 2 or 3 hits. I was having issues with updating my account. I've done it about 50 times. For the 2nd time I called ebay. This time they still beat around the bush so I came right out and asked them if my funds were going to be held on the 23rd because I dont have a cell phone. She told me my funds would be on hold and my account may be suspended. I told her that wasn't fair because she called me on my land line so know it's me and it's a good number. Also I cant believe I'm the only one who sells on ebay that doesn't have a cell phone. She told me that ebay wants to start sending all messages thru text messages. I told her that wasn't a great way to treat their sellers that have been with them 22 years. Both times I have called on this issue, they told me it would be sent to the technicians. I've never heard anything either time. But of course I'm not a big seller any more so not a big loss to them!!
We removed all international shipping a couple of years ago (apparently electric carving knives are not permitted in the UK). Guess what, with eBay's changes to the Global Shipping Program, we were "automatically" re-enrolled. We received our "warning" message even though we had redundancy built into our shipping policy which does not offer any international shipping. Folks, if you are not offering international shipping you must opt out of the new eBay international shipping.
Five star video, bro. In a sea of excellent videos, this one stands out as one of the best. First of all sorry about your troubles and hopefully a quick resolution will ensure. Thank you so much for going in depth about how to handle a customer service call. Your previous call center experience really showed, thanks for sharing it's obvious from the timeframe that you were taken down by bots. It's unfortunate that the bots should have the final say. I believe that the bots should just be a pointer, and then human intervention would follow, especially for something as important as an account suspension. Best of luck with the resolution. Looking forward to will talking about it tomorrow on the live, as I'm sure it will be your show topic. Regards, your buddy, Mike from NY
You are totally correct! I just checked and the seller that you showed as an example selling the same thing is still up and shipping outside the U.S. Something is wrong with their system and regulations. Yes this would make me loose mt Sh@t.
Always keep good notes dates and times you talk to the various agents and request a SR number for your conversation. Expect a half hour session for any problem and don't expect an immediate resolution for any complicated issue. If you're unsure the agent understood your concern, have them repeat what your problem was about. There are many times I have gotten a pause and the agent is unable to restate what I have said. I have also found promises and apologies are just words with little value. There is some hope, once in a blue moon I'll get a phenomenal agent that affects a change. Good luck.
I have two emails from ebay stating I did not violate the policy, including the one from tonight. I am persistent and will continue to fight this even beyond the 3 day suspension. Warnings for something you never violated should not count.
Thank you for the information. As a new reseller, I for one can use all the good advise I can get. Thank you for sharing your struggles. It helps to see the best way to handle things. Have a blessed day.
I used to sell alot health and beauty and then had changed all to US only and then I decided to stay away from all of it for it's not worth the headaches.
A while back I had a listing or two removed in the HABA category due to international shipping restrictions. If I get something HBA now, I simply restrict international sales for exactly the reason that you are going through, I so rarely sell anything out of the country obviously due to the continually rising shipping rates. It is way too time consuming for me to figure out what liquid or cosmetic can ship to what country. I'm sorry this happened to you and I did hit the like button, Have a blessed day!
It is good that you were able to resolve the situation but your time it’s very valuable and this shouldn’t be happening, funny that I feel sometimes that eBay had a flag on my account as they ended several of my listings when there were tons of other listing of the same or similar item, but I was offering a better pricing, so in my head it’s like big sellers has connections inside and my competitors were making someone create violations and ending my listings, then I had to call eBay and spend over 1 hr every time trying to resolve the issue. Very suspicious !!
But i didn’t resolve anything. I still have 3 strikes hanging over my head and i still can’t list any new items. I’m simply concerned about my account health going forward yet nobody can answer the tough questions.
I love your always sharing the good with the bad. You help countless people. Did I miss something though? Were they going to remove the records of your previous as well as your oldest notices of being restricted? I honestly always try to deal with the supervisor's supervisor. It is hard sometimes but doable if you are persistent. Thanks for your channel, Ron!
Ebay is bogus. They sent me a warning said that I cancel an item fraudelent by saying that the buyer wanted to cancel to attempt to avoid a defect. I had not even cancel an item. Ebay could not even tell me what item they were even referring to. Just so wrong.
I got the sweats just listening to the hold music. Yes, you handled the best way to get any resolution. But as you know, you will still have to do more follow-up more than likely.
I hate how they just say a bunch of nonsense with every single response. It's rare to speak to an American but at least they just get to the point and understand the situation.
Ebay Suspended my account for a month...only sending vague emails about why it was Suspended. They said it was Suspended until all my items were delivered but allowed my listed items to continue to sell. After 3 weeks, i called and they finally stopped sales and said items sold still needed to all be delivered. After all items were delivered, they then said i needed to provide receipts of certain items...items that were already delivered to buyers. I provided all receipts and finally after 4 weeks, they reinstated my account and released almost $7,000 of my money they were refusing to release until my account was reinstated...i guess they would have kept the money if i could not provide good receipts. RIDICULOUS. I personally have began selling on other sites now...mercari and amazon
Same here dudu luckily enough I just got mine reactivate with the help of a very reliable and professional expert! Called swifycrack he helped me a lot, I was already desperate I think he can help you too, I suggest you send him a request.
This is one of many reasons why I niched down to a single category that has very very low risk. Nothing wrong with selling everything but the ability to scale is low and the amount of risk is far to much of a variable.
I stopped selling internationally many years ago to avoid problems. I am glad I did and I stopped buying Amazon returns items from local Amazon return stores. I hit regularly with counterfeit items being removed and suspended once for 3 days. I use to sell home health products but they became problems with expiration dates. Easy to forget items expires over time and pulled for it.

Bottom line also is the international customer service reps don't understand the vibe of issues or explanations that get given to them. They give canned answers and never simply just figure out what they can do to solve an issue. Or to appreciate the longevity of certain sellers.
Thanks for your videos, they are helpful, it’s so easy to fall into eBay traps. It seems like every time I list something on eBay the rules have changed. Thanks from the uk 🇬🇧
If sellers gave eBay a maximum of 3 strikes nobody would sell on there. They need to clean up their act, there's no reason for the bots/scripts to be so bad.
sold an item for £215, received email good news your item is sold, next email telling me that “We wanted to let you know that your payouts have been placed on a temporary hold. This may have happened for a variety of reasons” Nd last email “We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly and it’s important that we keep our marketplace safe for everyone” EBay is fukin asshole
Awesome, John! EBay is so lost they don’t even know if they are coming or going!!! 5 years later, I’m TOO fed up with them, so I’m quoting eBay and moving to Artificial Intelligence instead!!! Besides, I want to be on the laughing side when AI kills eBay!!! 👍
Jon, if this isn't a great example of "Flippin Aint Easy". I sure hope they unsuspend you but I would be more interested in them removing all of your strikes. Now I am no whistle blower here but I wouldn't doubt if maybe they have an internal note on your account. That makes your new listing added to a specific que that gets checked either automatically or manually in a higher importance. So they can continue to cause you issues due to your social media precense. Good luck!
I'm sorry you are experiencing this. EBay gets in its own way. eBay either wants sellers to sell or not. They need to make updates and changes to their software, bots, and policies. EBay is too restrictive and therefore ruins their chances and the seller's chances of making sales which is ridiculous. I gave up on eBay a long time ago. I am happy to state I found other selling platforms where I make more sales than on eBay. I sell high-dollar items on eBay for exposure and nothing more. I laugh at eBay most of the time. I hope you can straighten this out with eBay for yourself.
Hi John. We’re full time eBay for 18 years. Quit our jobs 12 years ago. Not great money, but freedom. We quit our jobs for freedom and so we would not have a boss. However, I feel we are still at the mercy of others…..eBay. post office, scammers. This suspension is not only costly, but it’s disheartening and demoralizing. We’re mostly sick of NAD due to sizing and the fact that the buyer can get free returns simply by making a false defective claim.
I had the same thing happen over some plastic eye lash brushes. They told me it was prescription only. I said i was selling them as keyboard cleaner brushes and they reinstated my account. Of course I could not list them again. It's too bad a simple message to remove them was not sent. I have been a member since 1996.
I heard a line mom said to the one on the phone when she was getting the run around by them.... She called and said.... "I want to talk to someone who does not answer phones." Talked to a "supervisor" and her problem was solved. Wasn't Ebay but it could be universal :)
From my experience Supervisors in call centers aren’t usually the experts and combine the fact that most have other duties they have to do during their shift, they usually don’t want to be bothered with something they feel can be handled by an agent. So when they get a call from a customer, it is common for them to give into the customer rather than go round and round about the problem. It’s a tactic to get you off their line in most cases. Not always the rule but this happens often.
Sorry to hear about your account Jon. They should have just pulled your listing with a Warning and a brief explanation of why they pulled it without a strike against your account. You did NOT violate the drug policy by listing this item as the rep mentioned ,and agreed with you that you were correct. Also she mentioned the MAIN reason why they pulled the listing, was because you had it listed to be purchased by people internationally, And that's against the EBay policy as she mentioned. Rule of thumb don't sell HBA internationally. It stinks but you will get thru this brother.
Let us know when the suspension is lifted, and your sales pick back up. I listed a novelty alligator souvenir lighter last August where a red warning popped up saying this item can not be shipped overseas before I could even list the item. I changed the shipping to exclude overseas, and was fine. Why can't that warning pop up for other items that can not be shipped overseas? It should be that way for all items whether the warning is based on category and/or keywords.
My advise. And its only advise: don't take risks. Theres alot of items to sell as a business owner. Its crap that they have all these restrictions. That being said, I stay away from these items.
sorry you had to deal with that, I always get paranoid about my eBay account so I just sell only in general merchandise like books, toys, video games, and collectibles. Anything else that I’m not familiar with I stay away from just to play it safe. Glad your account is still running.
This is what happens when they send you to the Philippines call center. They have no real authority, yet they pretend they do. I blame eBay for this ridiculous outsourcing when their team in SLC could have taken care of this in minutes. Concierge needs to be available to all TRS and TRS+.
Same here dudu luckily enough I just got mine reactivate with the help of a very reliable and professional expert! Called swifycrack he helped me a lot, I was already desperate I think he can help you too, I suggest you send him a request.
I hate to tell you, but this never ends. I sold my first high priced item after 150+ sales with no hiccups. Without warning an instant temp restriction, MC011 the next day and then permanent selling restriction with funds being held for 60-72 days with no clear explanation. Their bot scanning and algorithms are just terrible, and with managed payments they can hold funds arbitrarily.
Same here dudu luckily enough I just got mine reactivate with the help of a very reliable and professional expert! Called swifycrack he helped me a lot, I was already desperate I think he can help you too, I suggest you send him a request.
Thank you for the heads up on the products not allowed to be sold internationally. I sold ProActive products before I started shipping to international addresses. So I unknownly dodge a bullet then. I can tell you that "official" representatives can list these items on eBay. I am sorry your account was suspended. Thank you for video. Have a better weekend.
I had this exact same issue with their knife policy about a month ago. The item they flagged did not actually match and type of knife on their restricted list, there was ample proof that other knives that were identical were listed and several had been sold. Plus I have several similar knives listed and sold too (just average folding lock blades). And they just didn't care. The rep couldn't get me to a supervisor at the time and that supervisor never called back like they were supposed too. So I ended up severing that 3 day suspension, but the hits are now still against me. I just have to stop listing folding lock blades I guess or risk a 7 day suspension next time. It's super annoying to get flagged immediately even though there are a dozen identical items in the active and sold listings that never get flagged. The most frustrating parts is eBay's inability to be accurate or even consistent with these matters.
I had same issues but no response from them I got to know of #omortech he was recommended by a lawyer friend of mine . His service are top notch. He was able to retrieve my account back . Kindly reach out to #omortech
It's ridiculous that we get a strike when we have zero clue that they choose random products to restrict but others are fine. There can be 100s of other listings and solds but we're supposed to magically know it's restricted? And the worst part is all the mistakes ebay makes, I've had way too many instances where eBay was completely wrong but they don't care. We can have something listed for an entire year and they just out the blue remove it.
Their AI is a joke. I was suspended for a month for not taking a call to verify my personal information. Likely because my phone said “likely spam.” Now, I answer every call, even “likely spam” calls. 🙄

I can’t stand talking to ebay because I never understand what they are saying. I couldn’t even understand much of your conversations (ebay side). I wish they had regional responses- if you call from USA you should get someone to talk to born in the USA.
The same happened to me - but they didn't even send me a message - the reason? eBay couldn't verify my account due to their idiotic customer support in Bangladesh! 17 years with them, only BUYER!!!!!!!!! and occasional seller. I am done with these morons...complete morons!
If I am going to make the argument to ebay that they are not being consistent with their own policy enforcement, don't you think I need to come to them with some actual proof. This proof is going to require actual item numbers they can look at. Not trying to hurt any sellers however it hurts sellers as a whole when this kind of inconsistency is happening on the platform.
John bad news. That mouth wash you listed does require a prescription for the main ingredients from either a dentist or oral surgeon. It is used for the the treatment of gingivitis and for post dental surgery. Post dental surgery for treatment of holes in the gums. from tooth extraction and gingivitis removal were part of the gums get cut out. The main ingredient is Clorhexidina. Which requires a prescription. Amazon sells it through their new online pharmacy.
@@FlippinAintEasy Ebay isn't giving you permission to sell an unpermitted item. They are more like the IRS. You can cheat on your taxes until you get audited and then you need to stop. You will get away selling prohibited items on Ebay until you get caught. Unfortunately, it appears items can be sold when in fact they can't. This is very misleading to sellers.
I don't think you're supposed to sell that in US. Sometimes the agents have it backwards. I bought a competitors product on Amazon. I would personally never sell anything meant to be used in mouth or in eyes. Too hard to keep up with legalities including expiration and country of origin stuff. Sorry you got suspended.
Had a similar issue a couple years ago selling a over the counter product for treatment for parasites in caged birds I.e. budgies pulled because of violating the prescription policy because in contained ivermectin. Even though it’s a over the counter medicine. Sometimes I think it would be easier to sell fentanyl on eBay
You can open a return which is one option. You can also simply leave a negative to the seller that they were non responsive and would not fix the problem. I would not recommend threatening any action just reach out and give the seller a chance to help first. If they don’t fix the issue then that would be my last resort remedy which then may prompt them to try to work with you at that point.
in that case why don't ebay say you can't list this item internationally for you launch the listing what i learned from this video not ship internationally if you have HBA products would be curious if you ship internationally but not through the global shipping program would the bots pick it up
I have the same Type of issue with HBA in December and had a 3 day suspensionKama so during those 3 days I pulled everything that had anything To do with HBA
It wouldn't be on the item that you can't ship globally it may be that a country in the global shipping program does not allow that to be imported. So what exactly was suspened? Was it just your ability to list for 3 days?
The problem is that you'll never be allowed to speak with one of Ebay's IT guys capable of making changes to the algorithm. The truth is that your items are being singled out because they're high on the best match lists due to your sales. Ebay could easily remove all listing violating rules. However, the algorithm has clearly been programmed to only remove some listing. This way they can claim to be working on the issue, without hurting their revenue. People like you are singled out because they know it won't make you quit listing, where something like this could make an occasional seller leave ebay.
Jo, the mailing overseas restriction is from the Post Office, perhaps? Or a Custom's issue maybe? If the other guy sells it, then the carrier will not allow it to be mailed. Call your local PostOffice and double check. Just an idea...
Could have happened to anyone for no good reason so sorry its you today. Just one of the reasons I stopped Global. Not worth the headache to me. I do not do any overseas shipping now. I may be losing out a bit but to be honest many overseas have figured out how to get there stuff shipped regardless of Global.
I got my accounts suspended for 3 strike. 1 was a real lego figure that the legs was painted. The second one was a legit lego figure that someone was matched with different lego figure to look like batman from the video game. That was 2 strikes and the third was a bot took me down because I priced some make up to low and it said it was counterfeit. I talked to ebay everyday cause they sent me to another department and they wouldn’t never call me back. Finally I got some one to look at it and they fixed it. But they shouldn’t take people listing down with out a real person looking at them especially suspend your account. With out a real person looking at it. All 3 strikes were wrong they were all real product
I had same issues but no response from them I got to know of #omortech he was recommended by a lawyer friend of mine . His service are top notch. He was able to retrieve my account back . Kindly reach out to #omortech
It may not be eBay that is causing the problem. Anyone viewing your item can hit the "report item" link on the listing, state that it is a prohibited or restricted item and have it removed. I bet eBay doesn't verify that the complaint is even valid, they just remove it because it was reported.
Wow I never thought of that but I accidentally said also..... I learned so much for him he's great... But you have to be authorized a certain categories!!
As of now I can make offers to watchers however i cannot launch drafts. Same error message as before. 😅

Folks, if you are not offering international shipping you must opt out of the new eBay international shipping.
eBay international shipping isn't cost-effective anyway. Shipping costs more with eBay
international shipping.
Thanks my friend. See you on the live.
Thanks so much, I've learned a lot from you!
Thank you so much! Glad I was able to help!
You are a true professional in handling this. Best of luck to you.
I’m back to where I was on Saturday morning, one strike away from a 3 day suspension unfortunately.
Ebay is bogus. They sent me a warning said that I cancel an item fraudelent by saying that the buyer wanted to cancel to attempt to avoid a defect. I had not even cancel an item. Ebay could not even tell me what item they were even referring to. Just so wrong.
Great job John, put them on blast, we should all be videoing the BS from CS and put it out there
I got the sweats just listening to the hold music.
Excellently said
I said the same thing as well you could not have put it in better words...... You put yourself at high risk like that...!!!!!!
Well here it is, AI (Artificial intelligence) committing mistakes and humans left to pick up the pieces.
Ai is balogne

Stop selling risky items. Even though they are so called allowed. It is NOT WORTH the HASSLE.. Great Information Awesome Video.
Thanks for sharing your experience.. I wouldn't relist that item lol
This may have happened for a variety of reasons”
Nd last email “We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly and it’s important that we keep our marketplace safe for everyone”
EBay is fukin asshole
Considering the problems with eBay and other countries the best policy for HBA is to ship lower 48 states only.
Awesome! Glad i was able to help!
How will AI kills EBay ?
Jon, if this isn't a great example of "Flippin Aint Easy". I sure hope they unsuspend you but I would be more interested in them removing all of your strikes. Now I am no whistle blower here but I wouldn't doubt if maybe they have an internal note on your account. That makes your new listing added to a specific que that gets checked either automatically or manually in a higher importance. So they can continue to cause you issues due to your social media precense. Good luck!
I'm sorry you are experiencing this. EBay gets in its own way. eBay either wants sellers to
sell or not. They need to make updates and changes to their software, bots, and policies.
EBay is too restrictive and therefore ruins their chances and the seller's chances of making
sales which is ridiculous. I gave up on eBay a long time ago. I am happy to state I found
other selling platforms where I make more sales than on eBay. I sell high-dollar items on
eBay for exposure and nothing more. I laugh at eBay most of the time. I hope you can
straighten this out with eBay for yourself.
These are things that you need to overcome and push through unfortunately. You can do it.
Good video, and I hope you are able to get back on before the allotted time!
@@FlippinAintEasy if it works and keeps u from getting the run around.. :)
Thanks for sharing this because. Sometimes I tend to forget to list some items that are restricted to sell!
Talk about reality tv! Thanks for sharing. Great video!

Oh that sucks Jon, sorry to hear. Better luck next time hey :)

Did the other listing ever get taken down probably not. Just like when sellers put there phone number in the ad , there never removed
I believe it’s still there
Thank you for the heads up on the products not allowed to be sold internationally. I sold ProActive products before I started shipping to international addresses. So I unknownly dodge a bullet then. I can tell you that "official" representatives can list these items on eBay. I am sorry your account was suspended. Thank you for video. Have a better weekend.
Sorry to hear. Things like that just are not worth the risk. Risk management.
Ebay should give a warning notification at time of listing if there are any potential violations.
I got a suspension over a teapot if you can believe it about a year or two ago.
eBay really is one of the worst ran companies in the world. It’s a shame because it shouldn’t be that hard.
Wow, sorry to hear that brother, hopefully everything works out well for you at the end.
Best of luck!! 👍
Much appreciated
Hey Jon. stay positive bro... You got this
ebay has bad customer service and they give no help. calling them is like talking to idiots.
Agreed
One thing ebay is really good at is apologizing. That says it all.
Their ongoing apology through the call drives me crazy.
I just got a Vero for a Covergirl eyes shadow because of international shipping. Makes me wonder if I should just not ship international at all?
I love the way you handle this situation.

They couldn't just disable the international shipping option and let you know, right? 😒
I'm sure the person whose listing you exposed on this video appreciates the tire tracks on their back....
You may be 100% right. So why then is ebay telling me I can sell it?
I am so sorry you had to deal with this.Ebay has so many different rules?🤔
At this moment, i have a seller overcharged me and so far they are not going to fix it! What can I do?
Ebay is dead. They banned all the people who sold things you couldn't get anywhere else.
No one said ebay or amazon hire the best and brightest.
Very good point.
Beautifully said /greatly explain.. excellent terms you put it in!!!! People don't realize these things and they need to!!!!!
Oh man that sucks. Right during the weekend too. At least its not permanent i guess
Jo, the mailing overseas restriction is from the Post Office, perhaps? Or a Custom's issue maybe? If the other guy sells it, then the carrier will not allow it to be mailed. Call your local PostOffice and double check. Just an idea...
You should write a letter to corporate and explain your situation
I know ebay watches these videos.
It happened so fast after I listed the item. It would be hard to believe someone reported the listing shortly after it was listed.
Wow I never thought of that but I accidentally said also..... I learned so much for him he's great...
But you have to be authorized a certain categories!!
What a royal pain! That's is so screwed up!
During the pandemic Ebay told me that Windex was a disinfectant! :P
I need to go get some then...
Bots, AI and algorithms.....
It's like beating a dead horse how can THEY keep getting away with destroying people's lives it seems intentional to me.
It feels that way.
Sorry my man. It’s happened to me too but I fought it and won. If we can win, you can too
what is the phone to contact ebay customer service?
Somebody at eBay doesn't like you.
Sorry to hear bro!
Those darn BRP's lol. Come to my garage sale tomorrow and pick up some stuff for free. I'm sure you'll have better luck with them.
You should be selling those things. I will try to get away if i can.
It’s a form of discrimination. Are you telling me their bots don’t know how to search their own system for keywords? Come on
That music is psychological torture, no joking.
