Missed the ideal opportunity to shout “PIVOT!! PIVOT!!” when manoeuvring the sofa around! 😂 all jokes aside mate it’s really coming together really fast… well done to the both of you
I can't believe the 2 of you moved that sofa bed with the mattress still in it. I'm not messing with you guys lol. OK that is major progress, you have a 1 room house (for now) You want some plastic sheets/old bedding to toss over the stuff in your kitchen when you do messy work in other rooms and you're golden. If you use old bedding - when you are done with the dusty work they can be washed and cut up into rags for staining, oiling and painting. You don't have go outside and into the house to use the loo. Now, to move the shower before it's too cold outside? I'm only 5ft tall myself so I understand the challenges in doing some of this work. You are both doing amazingly well!!
Haha…it is quite a heavy beast…even more so when you do it at the end of a hard days work! 🤦♀️ yes we are finding out we need something covering the kitchen bits still….we have a couple of huge dust sheets which are good….but….we keep forgetting to put them out! Haha! Ooh yes…it is getting rather chilly showering outside, that is on the agenda for moving asap! Being 5ft tall is a bit of a pain at times…makes lots of things more awkward and slower!
@@thecornerhouseproject You are both doing really well - I don't think you are slow at all. Haste makes waste, you are taking the time to figure it out and do it right so you can live there without worry for many years to come. This is also preventing costly mistakes that happen with haste. humans with arms stretched out have a width the same as their height so if a panel is wider than 4 ft you can't reach one side to the other for stability. In fact most panels are only 4ft wide but that leaves us kissing the panel to wrap our hands round the ends so we have to hold it in the middle and balance it OR cut them all to Hobbit size ROFL
@@SweetOne. 😂 love it! Hobbit size! You’re right with the taking it slow to get it right…that’s one of my biggest worries…doing something without thinking it through properly and then having to undo it and do it all over again! 🤦♀️ so we will continue to consider carefully before starting lol
Hahahaha very true and already we have found putting kettle on, getting back into bed, making the tea once boiled and then getting back into bed quite easy hahaha. Thanks for watching and commenting, as always.
You two are perfect together and so blessed to have each other. I lost my Husband of 26 years to cancer in 2020 and we were always with each other. Good luck as you make your home so special.
