Just lovely, thanks. I'm just finishing up a year-long build of a '71 Bonny custom cafe racer, with a hand-hammered aluminum fairing, DIY rear-sets, and DIY 11.5" front disc brake, and selected the same mufflers and kick starter as Dave fitted to his 750 shown here. This sampling, together with your gorgeous scenery, will tide me over nicely until the Spring!
Maybe I should do two of each video in the future I once had a Dutch guy tell me “too much blah blah not enough vroom vroom” 🤣🤣

Two videos sounds like a great idea. I really like the commentary and the banter after the riding, but I really enjoyed this one. Only problem is I've got a 1978 T140 and it's making me desperate to go out on it but there's about 4 inches of snow outside😂
Great video chaps, so good just to hear the sound of these amazing bikes, no sound effects, no backing tunes just the bikes ,fantastic !.more like this please .Of the three, on looks and on sound, it's got to be the T120 r for me, beautiful machine. The t140 is probably the pick of the bunch (sorry Rich ) but as this video is focusing on sound ,it wasn't quite as sweet to my ears . On any other day the trophy would be a winner but up against these two it sounded a little too civilised. All in all the brothers should be very proud of their bikes .
The sounds of my youth were European two stroke dirtbike’s and triumphs I worked at a great motorcycle shop that sold Triumphs and many racing 2stroke brands puts a smile on my face. I have 4 modern Triumphs and and an old Montesa. The modern bikes sound good but not as great as the old ones ❤
So I hit a deer when it ran out in front of me. I hit it dead center with my Suzuki XT650 and totaled my bike. Both of my wrists were badly injured. Here’s the kicker. The therapist that is helping me recover mentioned oh you love bikes my Dad has a Triumph Tiger he bought new back in the 70s that is buried back in his garage would you be interested in buying it!!! Do I need another project? Yes! A silver lining in a bad accident 👍
I explain that in the other video at the next changeover I mention to Dave the owner and they had become loose a quick roadside tighten and they were working again 🤣👍
@LemonDrizzleGang Well, thanks for looking. I turned my phone to max, & it was very quiet. To illustrate, it was like hearing a bike about 2 miles away !?! It could be something to do with the providers ???
Strange it’s fine on my phone and computer I will try it on my wife’s Did you watch the other video with the commentary ? Because that is the same video I didn’t change the levels just left off my twaddle 😁👍
On reexamination I agree, I must just be missing your voice Mike😂. Seriously though, your comments come in in the quiet moments when you roll off which is understandable for sure but overall it’s still somewhat muted compared to some channels efforts who sound more like being on a bike to me. Nevertheless keep up the excellent channel it’s one of only a few I really look forward to new content and love the discussions between you guys who clearly have knowledge, experience and passion for motorcycles and not like those that overly monetise their channel.
@@simonwalker7957 it’s really odd it is fine on all the devices I have tested but you are the second person who has mentioned it - I will do some more investigating Thanks for the feedback back

Now that's how you want a parallel twin to sound, my modern bike can't compete with that!
The new twins are 270 degrees so they will never sound like these
Nothing quite like three old bikes riding along old country lanes, thanks!
This is just what is needed to get me out even in colder/dirty conditions, bikes can be cleaned..
Music in today's turmoil !
Thank you guy's I appreciate this ( being a 1966 Triumph Saint 650 owner ) and ride safe .
Our pleasure!
Already tired of this winter. I want to ride!
I just grab days when I can
I commented on your previous video how much I enjoyed the discussion at the end, but this video had no talking at all and it is one of your best !
Maybe I should do two of each video in the future

That’s it, I’m taking the T140D out tomorrow, salty wet roads be damned. Thanks guys. Ex.Pat. Brit in Putnam Valley NY.

And the only thing missing for the last 2 years is sunshine.
You have that 100% correct

Wow that is an amazing story, get well soon and get twirling those spanners 👍
What A Ride...
pure, unadulterated joy. Wonderful engine but the clocks don't work!!!🤣 You just gotta love classics brits.

Il sound migliore ce l'ha quella rossa 👍
Have you any idea how jealous you make me feel?
Are these new triumphs or restored ones, they sound awesome.
1969, 1971 and 1975
pure twin sound.better slow down though..thanks...
Does the sun ever shine over there.
Of course it does we had a great summer in 1976 🤣
We have had shockers for the last few years (Used to live in Australia )
Sonorous
Pure Sound ???
No Volume???
But, nevermind, I know that a good Triumph sounds better than most other bikes. 👍🇬🇧🔧
Sorry what do you mean no volume
I have just looked at the video again the volume is fine what probs are you having ?👍

Apologies after investigation you were correct
I am going to republish at the correct volume
Thanks for letting me know
Too quiet and muffled; they sounded better on the original video
It’s exactly the same piece of film
@@LemonDrizzleGangthey sounded great. Love my singles but twins are my fav 👍

Muffled bikes. Don't know if they're running or not. I run unbaffled straights on all my bikes.
Might be a good idea to go for a hearing test.
What country do you live in ? I don’t really like really loud bikes myself they are a pain in ears to ride and annoy the general public
