As far as I am aware there is literally just a few fire access roads and not sure whether vehicle access is ever allowed. By definition I think It is essentially untouched bush. I have driven around and near it for decades but never actually been inside the park, but have always wondered what it was like in there.

Yeah pretty much. We just saw it on the map and were curious and found basically no information about it so we had to find out.
But yeah literally wilderness with fire access roads that aren't open to the public and they haven't been cleared in years either, branches and logs everywhere. Whole place had a bit of an eery feel about it, like I can't quite put my finger on it but just felt a bit off. Great place to go if you wanted to disappear.
We'd still like to go back at some point and explore it more now that we know how to actually get in there.

@@DnPExplorers Yeah I would like to go in at some stage too. I think from what I have discovered is that it is made deliberately hard to access because it is one area that has had very limited human interaction, especially since european settlement. The rest of the high country has been extensively explored and mined for gold, timber etc, so do be careful there are still some old unmarked mineshafts up there that I have come across.
