Man! I love your products and the thought you've put into them. I'm interested in the adjustable battery tray. Once you release the Bronco dual battery kit I'm going to need an option to expand my ah and part of my overall plan is a rear seat delete. I think the third battery would fit in the goose gear box.
I had to go back and look at my Genesis dual battery kit in my 2013 JK. That kit saved my butt more than once. I had the G screen on it too which made monitoring and whatnot easy. The new gen 3 looks very nice compared to the Gen 1

Getting closer to purchasing this setup. I did see your website has an image of the "Jeep JL Battery Mounting Brackets" under the rear seats, can we expect a video with that rear seat setup? I have accessories in the cargo area but also planning for front accessories, so that website image opened up new ideas. Helpful video!

@@GenesisOffroad -I would assume (you know what happens when you assume!!!) the diesel kit would fit the Gladiator as well?
Will it work when the two batteries are different chemistries? Like lead acid start battery ad LiFePo house battery?

Can I use the Voswitch Switch Panel system with the new Genesis 3 System?
I am in the process of starting a build using a JT and will have an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper on the back. I will have Lithium Ion batteries (or battery) in the camper and will be using the Redarc Redvision management system which will have a dc to dc charger and solar input. I have your Gen 2 in my 2018 Jk and I love it, I run a fridge and numerous continual running electronics in my vehicle. I have few questions, one can I connect this system to the Redvision management system without issues using AGM batteries under the hood? Two, would a higher output alternater help in charging the house batteries or battery? Third, if the answer to question one is yes, would there be a way to wire the in cab electronics to the Genesis system and have the house system isolated on draw from the Genesis system when the vehicle is not running?

Shane, can I use my Gen2 power hub from my Jeep JL 3.6 and use it in my 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7 ? I just purchased the Gen3 for my JL.

how does solar incorporate into a system like this, via a charge controller direct to the bus bar? I've got a '14 tacoma and just started down the rabbit hole research dual battery setups, i'd like to get a house battery for my wedge camper

I’m missing something. Is this a way to eliminate the aux battery or is your second battery intended to run accessories and inverter when camped out?
Both. Our dual battery kit for the JL eliminates the small aux battery, and gives you a second full size battery to run all your aftermarket electrical accessories without draining your cranking battery.
I have just installed gen 3 . My isolator switch is in auto and green light is still on is this normal?
Yes. When the green light is on, that simply means the batteries are still full and still linked together. They will remain linked together until they drop below approx 12.7v. On my white JL in the video, I have seen the green light stay on for weeks while the Jeep was parked in the shop.

Yes, all of our vehicle specific kits come with Power Hub, which holds the batteries down to the tray. The Power Hub can also be purchased separately for our customers who have one of our previous kits.

Can I use a new Odyssey battery in conjunction with the factory (main) battery?
None of our kits that put two batteries side by side are compatible with the stock battery. Please see the kit’s detail page for the battery requirements.
Will this clear the amfib snorkel that runs under the hood over the batteries I know gen 2 did ...thanks
The Gen 3 Power Hub consumes nearly exactly the same physical space as the Gen 2 system, so I'd say it very likely will work. If you are able to confirm that, please let us know so we can add that to our fitment info on the website.

can i use engine on senser on my gen 2 ? i have JL
The engine on sensor is only compatible with the new Gen 3 Power Hub. That feature is not available on the earlier systems.

I wish this wasn't so expensive. Very cool product, but damn. Are those electronics 'made' not 'assembled' in the USA or China?
We agree. If this kit had launched in 2019, it would be at least $100 less, maybe $150 less. Our costs of literally ever component, from steel to copper to the nuts, ring terminals, and cardboard has gone up substantially since 2020. The smart battery combiner from Littelfuse is made in Mexico, as is the Carling boost switch, but everything else is made in the USA, using USA materials, including the plastic cover piece. Supporting American manufacturing is very important to us.
Does this work with factory Aux switches?
Yes. We are simply giving you extra battery capacity. It does not affect the way the aux switches work. Just keep in mind though that the factory aux switches are wired into the fuse box, which is always powered by the cranking battery. If you have accessories that you want to turn on while the engine is off, then we recommend running those accessories to the power and ground bus bars on our kit. This way they will be powered from your second battery and won't drain down your cranking battery. For example, notice the KC lights on the roof of my JL. I control those with the factory aux switch on the dash because I only use those while I'm driving, not while the engine is off.

Just read on the website it doesn’t work with optima batteries. I have optima batteries and the older system. My isolator just went out. So now I can spend $450 on a new hub plus $700 on new batteries. There’s no discount if you have an older system… Or $150 for the old style replacement which obviously needed to been re engineered. I think that’s pretty lame.
Unfortunately the Optima batteries have the posts much closer together due to their spiral design, so our power hub will not fit in between the posts. Our original dual battery system is still very robust and very reliable. It is exceptionally rare that we see failures with the isolator, but of course it is an electronic device so sometimes things happen. If you haven't already, please give us a call and we'll be glad to help with troubleshooting. If you do need a replacement isolator, that would get you back up and running quickly and relatively cheaply, and it should be good to go for a long time.
I have a 21' Tundra and I replaced the headlights with the Morimoto Gen 2 LED version. Will this setup still fit? I really like the dual battery system since there are times where I sit in my truck, but I don't listen to music since I have an aftermarket sound system.
