Jenny - since you have extra bread, you should make groundbeef patties and make a hamburger sandwich using the bread. I use wheat bread all the time for my hamburger sandwich with some cheese slices, mayonaisse and ketchup. Also just chop up some grilled chicken and make a chicken sandwich with the wheat bread. I'm sure they would like it and easier for you.
