It's like getting to enjoy it all over again. I wasn't expecting the skit at the end! haha
This one of the best reasons why I love the tree city sessions albums. Don't compare them, just enjoy the song all over again.

I listen to dgd almost every day...went to swanfest I love them and I don't care who thinks is the better singer...both amazing in ther own ways.. will makes it all groove and John is who keeps us on edge...

@@randybobandy9828 That's fair i just like Johnny's power and smoothness here over Tilian's more floaty and lighter voice, it just works better. It's like if Johnny did "We Own the Night", it probably wouldn't fit as well. I do prefer Jon's screams here though.

I don't think Rise Records would copyright strike themselves... Probably did that to the end because they didn't want Jonny to be recognizable.
It could rather be a musical choice. A singer may want to change the key of a song to fit their vocal range. Happens in the Jazz genre all the time. So Tillian may want to sing higher notes on purpose.

Okay, i gotta say i like Jonny’s version better but i love Til’s rendition too. Like a lot of the other comments say, it has it’s own personality.
Something that I really like about Dance Gavin Dance is that even if they do things differently or have different vocalists, it still sounds and feels like Dance Gavin Dance.
And last thing. I was kinda hoping that They’d let Tilian record the whole phone call part but it kinda made me happier that the kept the original one in there.

The original is better, but this version wasn't that that bad. Wasn't the best, but Craig's voice has more soul and that isn't Tilians fault. They have different vocal ranges. Tillian kills it on the Kurt songs though.
