Sir with due respect, the ans of Q5 is not vegetative propagation. It is Asexual reproduction.

Vegetative reproduction in algae is a type of asexual reproduction where a new individual is formed without the fusion of gametes. This occurs through the fragmentation of the algal body, where each fragment can grow into a new organism.

@@PlusMinusEdu Sir Asexual rep has types- fission, fragmentation, regeneration, vegetative propagation, budding, spore formation.
We can't say algae reproduces by vegetative reproduction because, again vegetative reproduction has types- grafting, layering, cutting, tuber, bulb, suckering etc.
Algae is not reproducing by any of the types of Vegetative propagation!
