Garmin are better...or a good 'ol CB for local info..but hardly worth it anymore..

It depends. I use both. The Garmin is better for some things, but the Overdryve 8 is better for others. I have a CB in our motor home, too. In 7 years and 100,000 miles, I’ve used it twice.
