Hello outposters - something different for you today: a selection of 15 ambient / electronica tracks (track list in the description) I've made long before I've started my Ambient Outpost journey, showing a different side of me. The tracks vary in their energy and mood but fit together really well - they all mean a lot to me, it's pretty much my past in music. I'm glad to share them with you today. Hope you enjoy! :)
NICE! Love the image! Happy to enjoy your other work, too - technosynth is another of my favs. This one is energetic, upbeat - great for work, background, driving. (And it's not raining. 😊)
I've listened to all of them and they're all incredibly great. I think - but this is my personal opinion - that you should not do anything for the listeners that is not 100% consistent with you. It's your channel, your talent and your art. If someone approves of what you do and appreciates your talent, they will continue to support you. Don't rush - don't produce quickly because you need to show something to people - do it at your own pace. Whoever is supposed to appreciate it will appreciate it. Don't do surveys about what someone likes more - because it may not be consistent with you at all - it may not flow from you. Let your art (sound image) and you remain yourself. Best ❤
Thank you very much for the lovely feedback! I see it exactly like you and that's how I roll. I have my own vision but I also love to interact with the audience. 99% I am doing just what I feel like doing, exactly like this release today, completely unexpected - even for myself. Had this idea just 2 days ago. And of course everybody is free to have their opinion about particles, same about music or anything in general. There is no such thing than a universal taste - which is great! :) - happy to take this offline to email if you like!
@@ambientoutpost not sure how much work goes into animating them, so this may not be practical, but maybe you could release videos with/without, like you do with the music? personally I love them. However, that gets complicated fast (videos with/without music and with/without particles is 4x the work at least), and I have no idea if that effort would be worth it because I don't know much about animation or video creation. I only mention this because I think they add to the vibes, which are awesome.
@paullagarde7388 Yeah the music and no music videos are both really good because there's many people who just want an ambient video and theres people who enjoy the music (like I do). I dislike the particles because I put the video on and watch the screen sort of like a meditation and the particles are distracting, they also take away from the ambience in my opinion because the outposts often look futuristic and clean but somehow theres all these particles, like bro just clean the vents.
@@lawsen3719 I absolutely understand your point. For me, particles add a lively element to the video, like there is actually an atmo going on and not just a plain image that is barely animated. I put a lot of thought and energy and time into what I am doing and if it doesn't work for everybody, that is really fine and there is simply nothing I can do nor I wanna change about it. Thank you.

Good work, West Coast Ambient sounds great.
It's really good - I'd buy the CD. Seriously. It'll last through the years and still be worth listening to regularly.

I don't know how much this affects anything but labeling you SEO paragraph "SEO" gives the algorithm an opportunity to treat it as less important.

it's not forgotten, thanks for your patience :)
Can you make a poll on whether to remove the ambient particles or not? I personally dislike them.
Appreciate your feedback.
