Brother just told me about this lake and the history, and after I did some research. I must day the shit is tragic and sad. You make a whole town disappear with a dam. Crazy
Umm, yeah… People also pass away every summer all around the world. Sure, it’s unfortunate, but none of us are guaranteed to wake up tomorrow. Try to make the most of the time while you’re here. Take care 🙂
Your dum bro have fun with swimming in water people died in 🤦🏽♂️ it’s ok to look at the lake but damn y’all disrespect is outrageous swimming over graves and stuff🪦
Hello, I am currently working on a video on the hauntings of Lake Lanier, and was wondering if I could borrow some of your video. I'd provide your information in both the video and the description, if allowed. Thank you.
You won't PROBABLY drown But POSSIBLy yes..I believe it's haunted but people don't die like you are trying to make it out to be. I used to go in the 80s and nothing ever happened to me. And most nothing happens to..but I do believe it's haunted and sometimes I guess some people get the worst experience there.
This place is beautiful but if you swim here your probably swimming over dead bodies or a cemetery. And you will probably drown SO IF YOU SWIM IF THIS LAKE(don’t do it) WEAR A LIFE JACKET OR USE A FLOATY
@@raul72perez it was built over a abandoned city and the church and schools and houses are still down there, also A LOT Of mad spirits. There was so many deaths in this lake and your basically swimming over dead bodies if you swim here….also if you Swim here your probably going to drown or about to, there was this thing that says there this lady in a white dress who tries to drown you
@@BillyBob_McSanchez No it's not. The City wasn't abandoned either.. People were forced out while the rest were buried under water. That's why these "mysterious" deaths are happening.. Over 600 since the Lake was MADE. The City was called Oscarville. Look it up.
Yes. It is this lake's naturally occurring color perception. Appears very different from clear water lake's in New England but Lake Lanier's water is very clean with consistent quality levels that with some treatment is then distributed as drinking water to the surrounding counties. It's serves as a reminder that water on Earth can take on an entire palette of colors depending on its' surrounding geologic environment. Pretty cool when you think about it.

I move to Cumming GA and enjoy this lake, most crystal clean lake I ever laid eyes on.
Oscarville GA is under that lake.
Can anyone confirm if this is where John Boorman shot the nightmare scene to end Deliverance, where the hand comes out of the lake?
Long live Lake Lanier.
Ok there is no way I’d want any smoke from the Residents of Oscarville
