David, thank you for the compliment, I am glad you like the video. I agree, tied in some darker colors, say brown or olive, it could easily pass for a crawdad or a sculpin. Will have to give it a try! - Ian Anderson
Good job. I religiously tie all my flies for fishing, mostly gulf inshore. This will be my first bonefish outing (Barbados and Curacao). I may be biased, but this video matches my style, with the conciseness and pace of instruction.
Thank you for the compliment. I am glad the pace and content of the video works for you. I have not fished Barbados or Curacao for Bonefish but have in the Yucatan and Andros and they are a LOT of fun. Make certain to take along some #4 & #6 Gotcha's. They seem to be universal. Good Luck. - Ian Anderson
Great, detailed description of the tie with explanations for certain techniques!

Thumbs up on tying in the silicone legs so they quarter up towards the hook point. The leg angle and the bean chain eyes flip the fly hook point up.
Agreed, getting the legs set in that way helps the fly settle with the hook point up almost ever time. Thanks for the compliment. - Ian Anderson
Great job 👍🎣🤠.
Ian I think this would be a great smallmouth and largemouth bass fly. Thanks for your time and knowledge.

I like it! Thanks!
Glad you like the video. It is a very nice Redfish fly and a fairly quick fly to tie. Tight Lines. - Ian Anderson
