You have many wonderful testimonies on your channel. I have watched a few. However, it is so discouraging to hear so many testimonies of people who left the faith in their youth and returned to the Lord as adults. Are there any testimonies showing the power of God to keep young people from falling into the world? Those testimonies would be very helpful too.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy Jason got on the right path! But what worries me is that despite the hard effort of his mother during his childhood, Jason still completely derailed. Can a parent even prevent a child from derailing at all, and if so then how? If I put someone on this world, I better make sure they will be a positive influence and example. But how? It almost seems the harder a parent tries, the worse the child ends up being. That thought scares me.
I'm not a parent but I don't think it always happens that way and all a Christian parent can do is to love their child through their bad choices...not condone, just love through the power of Christ. I can only assume how heartbreaking it must be for a parent though!
