My uncle has his own little car shop at his house. It's always full of cars that need to be repaired, each day almost always a new car arrives. On top of that, he works in oil. He also builds a lot of what my aunts house has Now if only my brother could learn from him 😂

I thought they were hard working until I worked with them. We've got an influx here in Texas at work and a lot of them try not to work hardat all. They stand around gossiping, working slowly and milking the clock. It takes 5 to do what 1 person does because they congregate and just chatter. Our shifts are longer with less work accomplished yet more people. They pick up every shift because they are coming to literally hang out, IT'S RIDICULOUS. I first thought it was the younger generation and it is mostly and of course not all but it's an epidemic at my job. I'm literally shocked at all the people with no integrity in their job and the entitlement is real...DO YOUR JOB AT WORK
Its not even landscaping. My dad works four jobs, three of them for companies and the other one at home by fixing and painting cars. We still struggle but he works the hardest and I appreciate that. I’m going to soon be a lawyer and be the first one in my whole family (including tias and primas) to graduate highschool and also go to college.

Mexican Americans being a product of an American society in where the government provides you with a lot of assistance and so most grow up feeling privileged and taken care of . On the other hand a Mexican migrant that left his loved ones behind not knowing if they'll ever see them again and put his life through great danger trying to cross over just to get any type of job that will pay them in U.S.D is most likely not going to waste his time here being lazy. I never in my life had worked in the oil fields but I've been on the property of the oil fields that had drilling rigs and pulling units. I've seen three different types of race Mexican, white, and black when I use to sale ice cream as a mobile vendor driving the ice cream truck on the property and, I use to make pretty good sells on them rigs mostly in Midland county.

Its not even landscaping. My dad works four jobs, three of them for companies and the other one at home by fixing and painting cars. We still struggle but he works the hardest and I appreciate that. There is a also a big difference between Mexican Americans and Mexicans. Mexican Americans being a product of an American society in where the government provides you with a lot of assistance and so most grow up feeling privileged and taken care of . I never in my life had worked in the oil fields but I've been on the property of the oil fields that had drilling rigs and pulling units. I've seen three different types of race Mexican, white, and black when I use to sale ice cream as a mobile vendor driving the ice cream truck on the property and, I use to make pretty good sells on them rigs mostly in Midland county.
