Dear Harpalji.. great recipe. I have always seen this lotus seed in indian stores and i didnt have any idea what to do with this. after watching your video yesterday I brought a packet of this and tried this recipe. OH MY GOD!! That was awsome!! My husband liked it. when i called my mom in india i told her abt this and she wanted to try this. Luckly my husband is going to India today so I've packed my mom a packet of this also.. so that she can also try this recipe.. Thank you dear. God bless

I never knew makhanas are lotus seeds! Plz can you show us more recipes with makhanas, lotus stem etc. As you yourself pointed out that Lotus dishes are more in north India, Please show us those recipes too. Thanks a lot!

Please post more videos of other types of kheer desserts with different flavorings such as saffron, dried fruits, and even with suji (samolina). I hope I don't stupid, but its sometimes difficult to get the perfect consistency for making a wonderful kheer dessert for my guests and family. So, please do post some videos on kheer. Thank you very much for this recipe, I will definitely serve it to my guests!

phoolmakhana is not lotus seeds.. this is a flower called prickly water lilly... in north east this is very common aquatic plant
