As per Quraan 2:62,it's not mandatory to follow Prophet Muhammad for the non Muslims who are the People of The Book(_in fact,all nations were addressed by prophets and hence even the Hindus in India can be considered as Ahlul Kithaab according to many scholars) to attain bliss and Jannah. The conditions referred in the verse are 1.Believe in Allah 2.Believe in the Hereafter 3.Do good deeds.

Allah has given 100% genuine and logical answers for all your questions in the Quran. It's your insufficient knowledge in Quran that leaves your questions unanswered. Quran is the book of Allah without doubt because it answers all the questions. I had more questions than you in my mind, but when I got all answers from Quran, I realized that it is my mistake that I didn't take help of Quran to find answers and depended on people's opinions.

Not to mention he doesn't seem to have an inkling of the vast scholarship build up over 1500 years by monumental figures in Islam. Abu Hamid Ghazzali for example dealt with this question (sorry I can't cite now) and concluded that people that never heard of the message of Islam will be judged according to their actions in this world. The same is true for people that did hear the message of Islam but found it unconvincing and did not believe in it. Dr Zakir Naik also seem to have no grasp of sophisticated legal reasoning methods which are needed for determining jurisprudence questions. Forget about being up to date with latest Islamic and secular philosophy scholarships.

Many non Muslims doing good have constantly suffered in this life. When did they get rewarded by Allah?
Islam is a state of mind, surrender of mind, thoughts, actions and outcomes to God. It is not restricted to any religion.

@Msvks no... how can I tell you what signs? Am I God? The almighty knows best but Arabic can convey multiple meanings through the same letters. English cant. The delicacy of the arabic language is the beauty of it. Pronouncing a letter the way it shouldn't be pronounced changes the whole meaning. In English you cant do that

THAT is where we are divided my friend. We Muslims don't believe that enjoying life on earth and being loved by everyone is at all important; we only care about the afterlife which is eternal (either stay in heaven for eternity or burn in hell for eternity)...... But yes, Islam DOES orders you to be good human as well. So abiding our Islamic rules we can be happy in both earth and afterlife.

As per Quraan 2:62,it's not mandatory to follow Prophet Muhammad for the non Muslims who are the People of The Book(_in fact,all nations were addressed by prophets and hence even the Hindus in India can be considered as Ahlul Kithaab according to many scholars)
to attain bliss and Jannah.
The conditions referred in the verse are
1.Believe in Allah
2.Believe in the Hereafter
3.Do good deeds.

3. Why everyone is not born in muslim family?
4. Is it not unjust to keep away from the benefits of being a muslim, the person who is born in non muslim family till whatever age he does not get hidayat?
5. Is it not unjust for reverts because their test for afterlife is much harder and greater?
6. Is there a higher place in Jannat for reverts, cause their test was harder as they were depreived from being a muslim for a long time?
7. If yes, is it not unjust for a person born in a muslim family because he will get a lower place from such a person for no fault of his/her?
8. If not, is it not unjust to put a person born in a non muslim family to being put to a harder test for no fault of his for taking birth in a non muslim family?

A related question: Dr Zakir Naik said in various speeches that his job is to spread the message of Islam and a non muslim would accept it only when Allah give him/her hidayah to do so, So if he doesn't accept islam then why is this his fault? why he would be sent to hell then, it is Allah who didn't give him hidayah,
Hidayah meaning is guidance. Allah only give him guidance, but he can choose to follow or not to follow that guidance. So yeah if he choose not to follow it's kinda his own fault.

Not to mention he doesn't seem to have an inkling of the vast scholarship build up over 1500 years by monumental figures in Islam. Abu Hamid Ghazzali for example dealt with this question (sorry I can't cite now) and concluded that people that never heard of the message of Islam will be judged according to their actions in this world. The same is true for people that did hear the message of Islam but found it unconvincing and did not believe in it. Dr Zakir Naik also seem to have no grasp of sophisticated legal reasoning methods which are needed for determining jurisprudence questions. Forget about being up to date with latest Islamic and secular philosophy scholarships.
