Yes, I know, I picked up a brand new camping grill a few days ago, just had a broken stand… I took it home changed out the part and Bam got myself a brand new Camping grill! 😆

Yea, I broke down with this other truck… so had to go dump the truck, then head back to the yard and find another truck, luckily old faithful was ready to go from Maintenance!!

The City?! I'm not sure about them! But my Company hires a Power Washing Crew to wash the trucks every 2 weeks.. Wish we had wash racks to wash them whenever they got too dirty lol

Hello The reason I do not Crush them is because we Recycle Metal, Household Appliances, Electronic Equipment and we also have a dedicated Mattress Recycling route But not all mattresses get recycled.. Thank you for watching Truly appreciate you!
Never through the bottom or sides of the dump blade… stuff usually gets pushed through the top of the blade and falls behind the blade… I clean out the load body 1-2 times a week!
I had seen this on other videos-the compactor blade pushed a metal chair leg thru the hopper floor-was with a Leech RL compaction truck. I have seen bent blade edges on trash trucks in my area. Figure whatever it was that bent the edge of the blade must have been a solid steel bar or thick pipe. Home compactors have pressure limiters in them industrial and trash truck compactors do not have pressure limiters-the ram or blade returns to its starting position if it can’t compact an item that is too hard or tough. Preventing damage to the compactor mechanism
