    This is a hard concerto, especially for those intervals. I was in college and we had a master class. Joe Alessi was giving it and I played only one page. He grilled me on that interval accuracy and hitting them on the dot with accurate tonguing.
    Props to you for getting those intervals so precie!

    Fantastic performance! Your sound is outstanding, both powerful and expressive. The orchestra did a nice job too. I wish this piece was recorded more often, it's fun to play. Thank you for generously sharing this with the TH-cam community. This has become my reference.

    Anybody else feel like the mix isn't good? Matyas killed the solo, but it's so accompaniment heavy, it's so hard to hear him at times

      Dear Kyam. This recording made during the bass trombone content in 2016. Yes the balance is not perfect, but this is a live recording. I liked to play together with the pianist Ayumu. As I remember the live balance was super.
