@rashmigoyal1118: you can make it advance like 3 to 4 hours and refrigerate it...and remove it 30 minutes before from the refrigerator and cook on tava and serve immediately....

Ma'am. I will be making paneer tikka masala. today.. saw this video for paneer marianate. I just love to cook and and as equally love to serve.. shall let you know how it came. :) also on a quick note the oil u added was mustard oil or cooking oil is fine? i heard mustard oil is put for marination. and while frying on the tava the oil used on the tava is it the same which is put while marinating??? i think i forgot kauri methi.... is there anyother option for this???
do try it and let us know how it turned out...you can use regular oil for marination and cooking...kasuri methi gives a very very nice taste do add it if possible..
Hello... I made it.. and came out amazing.... actually the curd was a little liquid but after mixin all the spices and capsicum tomatoo n panner the marinade got thicker. i didnt have skewer sticks. i used tooth picks. it came out okay bt later decided to try the marinade just like tht on the tava. and for gravy i put the reamining marinade whihc added to the taste well.. I also added cashew paste.. fr the gravy

Dont know if you can read the description.. but it says that its paneer tikka ( which is cottage cheese) .. even if u watch the video u can make it out tht its cottage cheese!!
Hi I made Paneer Tikka using your recipe. I didn't have bamboo sticks, so I opted for putting each slices on tawa and then wait for crispiness. But as soon as I put marinated paneer cubes and capsicum cubes, the mixture of yogurt slipped of the edges and came to the top of tawa. What should I do to avoid this?
Tarla ji, thanks for easy prep steps.i tried this but i got comments from my friend that paneer wasnt cooked completely. i kept it on non stick untill paneer got turned into golden color any suggestions.
You need to make sure that the tikkas are cooked on a medium flame. Then only it will cook properly. If cooked on a high flame, it will get a golden colour fast but not be cooked from within..

If you do not have sticks, cook them with oil on a non stick pan and make sure your marinade is made with thick curds and not watery curds....

it seems that every stick has couple of sides uncooked as they do not come in contact with the tawa. Will that have any effect on the taste
