Thanks. I will certainly talk about Milestone at some point. The short version is: Orrin Keepnews’ late 60s and 70s project after Riverside went kaput. His connections, taste and love for jazz meant the quality was high.

Until about 10 years ago, Milestone issues used to clog up the dollar bins. No longer. And rightfully so. This is a fine example.
Indeed. Keepnews never lost his nose for good jazz. That’s what happens when labels are run by fans of the music.
