Thanks, Pete! I should have woken up at 4:30 to make it to the live version. But this was great entertainment (as well as instructive) to go with my morning coffee :-)
#3: I forgot that the 10D was high near the end and missed out on an extra overtrick. Bad on me. #4: I invited and played at 3H for a not great result. #8: I managed to set them which was a nice result.
Board 2 was weird, I decided to keycard after 4D and got to 6H that way. West led ace and another spade and East pitched a club. This looked very suspicious so I read the hearts as being 5-0, later in the hand I had to lead another spade off dummy and East pitched again letting me get out for down 1!
Absolutely love the impromptu lecture about Aces after#3! Great insights thanks Peter!
Have just seen that that was the title of the video....
Aces are undervalued... they are actually worth about 4.5 points rather than 4

7 pushes with you out-declaring me on #2 BUT I was +180 on #1 because I corrected to 2NT instead of playing 2S 😛

Board 7, the robots now play transfers after 1x - 1NT - 2NT. I also bid 4H making 11 tricks
Such a weird system sometimes.

Nice round, Pete.
