- From their Main Stage performance on 9/16/09, the Greenes perform only 3 weeks after Tony's kidney transplant surgery and Taranda's donation of her kidney (a perfect match!) to Tony. The other group member is Jeff Snyder.

I grew up with Tony , Tim and Kim where a few years older than I am. But Tony and I were in the same Class we went to a little Country School where we were more like a family than not. I was prevlidged to sing with him for many years. Tony was a good guy and a blessing and is soerly missed

I’m in awe of The Greene’s- Taranda has the greatest female voice in gospel music- I grieve every time I see them after the transplant knowing Tony’s gone😢😭 I listen to them and watch them on my iPhone every day. They are my favorite gospel group- My son, daughter in law, and sweet sister in Christ are traveling the US singing for Jesus- they are “Fields of grace.” Pray for them that God will bless their ministry and give them souls for their labor- I will forever miss Tony and Taranda singing on that stage together😢 No other female blesses me like Taranda does!! Thanks for such inspiration in your singing that I have to get on my phone every day and look and listen-What a Blessing!!! I love you ALL♥️

Tony is singing with the Angels now...What a Blessing these People have been to me down through the Years...God Bless his Dear Family he left behind. They will see him again soon..Hallelujah ! to Jesus.
Gonna really miss Tony but I know the angels are singing along with him now. May God's peace and comfort fill the family during this loss.

As I watch this video I can see Tony was struggling to sing. What an inspiration he was to so many. Taranda has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard. The Greenes have always blessed me with their singing. I miss Tony so much and pray for his family. What a great group to hear sing.

I recieved my miracle July 28 of last year. When a stranger from Colorado gave me the gift of life (because God led him to) and my brother from MI gave his to allow me to recieve. I'm from OH. Check out the story at Another2ndChance Org and watch the video. Also on Facebook at "Another 2nd Chance" God created the entire story to be glorified. I have had the priviledge to give this testimony on several occasions at a number of churches

Posting this video in memory of Tony Greene who has spent most of his life singing about heaven .And now today he is there. I pray for his sweet wife who is singing with him in this video and his 2 baby girls. Thank you Tony for your great music. I am so glad that I was raised to love this great music.

does anyone on here ever heard of the song that this wonderful used to sing, called God will turn your test into testimonies? They came to a chuch that I used at attend back in the 80's and they sung that song, I also used to have that song on a tape I bought from them, but unfortunally I have misplaced it some years ago and I can't find it. I really wish someone would find it and put on here on you tube, as I wish to share it with some friends that are going through a hard time as the present.
