DJI Mavic air battery inside story

- DJI Mavic Air Battery is a smart intelligent battery. I used this type of battery for the last 2 years. Ever wondered what's inside your Mavic Battery and why it's so expensive, well here is some inside detail I have taken of one just so you can see the 3 cells connected to the Ballance Board and the smart charge Board and circuit chips on top that take care of everything from charging to discharge to a number of cycles and health state of each cell.

Wouldn't it be better if the "intelligent" circuit was part of the drone instead and you just added the cells, they would be so much cheaper ...

Thanks for sharing. The protecting circuit locks down when undervoltage are detected. In some case the cells are still good, just need a recharging.
To unlock you need to reflash the IC firmware.
If the cells are good you don't even have to open the battery.
What a messy opening my friend. Use a thin credit card and patience. Not safe to dig inside with a conductive tool.
Tiago, blz. Me diga uma coisa. Voei com a minha bateria do mavic air até 0%. Guardei e só depois de uns 2 dias é que fui tentar recarrega-la e ela não carrega mais. No carregador hub o led fica vermelho. Você poderia explicar como que eu poderia conserta ela? Vlw!
@@RutaseBRs É necessário hardware e software específicos.
Quanto mais tempo ficar descarregado, menores as chances de recuperação.
É necessário verificar o nível de tensão das células, se estiver muito baixo, ainda é possível recuperar, mas elas não serão confiáveis.

its a dead battery, somehow all cells are completely dead.

Dear friend, it is disgusting what you have done with that battery, it really judges your performance in the electronics business. Better watch some more TH-cam videos in order to learn a bit about those batteries.
