- This is an edit of the first footage I ever took on my gopro back in December 2013. I sat on this footage for so long as I was daunted by how much I took, and didn't really have the patience to put it all together.
After revisiting part of the route recently, I was inspired to go back to the footage and get it out for people to enjoy.
The footage is chronologically edited, with my route starting at Putara Road End, through to Roaring Stag, up to Cattle Ridge, along Cattle Ridge to Waignawa, and over Bannister and the Twins to Arete. I then followed the main range north and across to Herapai and back down to Putara Road end.
This edit is just a tiny part of the footage I got, and I found it a real struggle to try keep concise. I have an extended portion of one section on a video I uploaded in 2013 on my channel.
