      Nine times out of 10 its because you didnt grow up with them like we did. The Black American church is the premiere musical institution of the country and has essentially produced everything directly or indirectly from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Clark sisters, Whitney Houston, plenty of Jazz, Blues, RnB etc etc even Rapping plus MOST of the musicians wbo actually play for other acts in the last 35 years or so. Most of peoples favorite vocal coaches, etc
