Seems like they also used the door component to Kone AMD (by Wittur Group). Identified by the similar sound in Asian AMD door operator while it moving.
I won't say where this is since you don't want it disclosed... but I was in there when I was a kid in the 80s and they had Otis Thyratron Tube touch buttons at the time... Since this beautiful bldg. predates the 1906 earthquake, I'd imagine there have been a few incarnations of its elevators in 110+ years. I like the current version... although I'm not sure why Kone named them after Polaris... the best damned snowmobiles in the world... made in tiny Roseau, MN up by the Canadian border since 1953!
I really like that kind of elevator. I mean I've never been in Kone Polaris, but from what I've seen it is really cool.
I love the chimes on these.
1:20 couldn’t be worse than those Miconic 10's at that Marquis hotel in NYC directing you to the wrong elevator in handicap mode
1:23 Elevator E on your left to floor- *Elevator Panel says "my job is done here"*
These look very futuristic! I think I saw another one like this in NZ but the entrance to the building was locked as it was after hours.
0:23 are floors 15 & 16 locked?
Awesome! I like the old Polaris voice on the keypad better tho. Also, they need Dunkin Donuts in these.
I actually think this is the older voice, & the newer voice is the 1 we hear more.
Looks completely awesome!

Awesome! I wonder why they changed the name from Polaris to Destination...
Always wanted to see one of these.....I’m just not lucky enough.
Was that a spotify office on the 14th floor?
Great find!!
Why didn’t you choose floor 16

@Giovanni Luchetta well... since you didn't say Yamaha, I guess I should play nice with you... 😎
Well it's not even named after the snowmobiles anymore, as they've since renamed it to "KONE Destination."
@@EWPA14 The Wonder Wheel is fun too...
I've NEVER seen a KONE Destination Dispatch in my life.
Agreed, this is different. I'll still stick to the Schindler series with the keypad.
My favorite part was the elevator.
I filmed some at 2 Houston center
Why didn’t you go up to 16?
Adam B I think it was locked off
Security said to only go to 14
Jowevator 3219 Ok. Probably opens into an office.
Adam B there was a banquet
Ah too bad its no longer called "Kone Polaris" as its now called "Kone Destination", but
"elevator, E, on your left, to floor----" (silence)
LMAO
