The "Untrainable Dragon" show at Epic Universe is probably going to be revolutionary when it comes to in-park entertainment, especially if they utilize puppets/animatronics from the HTTYD live show.
With this, Seuss Land, and all the new Minions stuff Universal has really stepped up their game when it comes to families with smaller children. Now that my own children are getting bigger it won't be long till I will hopefully be bringing grandchildren to Universal.
Studios definitely need this after KidZone. However, I think they could have added one more ride. Maybe a mini drop tower with a small footprint or a spinning swing ride. But I know the main idea is to allow the kiddos to just run and play.
Great video. One suggestion I would make is including the ride height requirement for coaster so parents can know if their child is tall enough. Great work 👍🏿

That show looks amazing! If you go to universal and miss out on seeing ANY of the shows, you really don’t get the full awesome experience. So glad to see another great show! My kids are going to love it.
We went and saw the land yesterday! That land was much needed and my daughter absolutely loved it. She’s a Dreamworks girly so being able to see Shrek, Donkey, Po, Poppy & Branch in one area was Heaven. And the new show is the cutest and everyone was singing and cheering. Universal is doing such a great job with all their new stuff

Really hoping they eventually add more Gabby’s Dollhouse stuff to the area/parks. My daughter is obsessed and it seems to be an incredibly popular franchise. Would be a miss to only have a booth and a handful of merchandise to feature.
Agreed I don’t the know the space constraints around this area but if they could have added a shrek or trolls dark ride it would have enhanced the area for sure.

Amusing how parks reuse tried and true old concepts. Those singing frogs hark back to the singing Bedrock birds piano from the interactive area of The Funtastic World of Hanna Babera ride, now the Minions ride.

I’ve been to kid zone maybe 1 or 2 times when it was around. It was fine, but I think this was an improvement. I’m gonna miss the waterslide, that was always fun. The show looks fun, troller coaster looks amazing, I love all the interactive stuff. Nice to see some love going to an area that really needed it after kid zone was there for so long!
Seeing all of this takes me back to when A Day in the Park with Barney closed to make way for DreamWorks Destination, which would eventually pave the way for this new land. I am still so glad Woody Woodpecker’s Kidz Zone got this replacement. And let me just say it, even though I’m being very very obvious here, that we should not expect to see How to Train Your Dragon in DreamWorks Land since it’s getting its own land in Epic Universe.
The theming could be a little better in my opinion (Harry Potter lands just set the bar) but for a quick turn around it looks really fun! Also Dev You got this video out quick!!!
ET is classic. I hope they keep it...but maybe they could put a Madagascar ride somewhere else at UO? I know How to Train Your Dragon is going in Epic Universe.

Great vlog! I enjoyed seeing the new transformation but I wish they could add more rides for the little ones. Kids will eventually get bored with just watching shows, not much playground, and splash pad. So Universal you did “okay” but not bad.

My kid is 9 so I'll probably enjoy this more than she will but I'm so excited for this! That green apple treat looks so good! I went earlier this week for the Butterbeer Popsicle that you showed us. I really enjoyed the hard outer layer but the ice cream in the middle was very gritty and not the best. Still enjoyed how it cooled me down a little though in that muggy heat! Anyways, WOW I'm really impressed with the new area! My question is, are they going to have this open during HHN? Play more into the swamp area making it a scare zone? 👀

But still, E.T ride was amazing. I wanted to go to honey I shrunk the audience but it didn’t work. They removed it. Simpsons replaced back to the future 😭
The Mama Luna building is cute but can only imagine if it had animatronics instead if screens. The Frogs gave us that which is beautiful sight 😍 Talk to Po live area is going to be PACKED and full of smiles!👏🏼🥳🎉 I can already hear all the screaming when the 🐲 comes on stage🤣

Ok I’ve been waiting for this. I always say no to universal I have a 4 year old and I’m like she won’t be able to do much but this even I want to go see so next year Disney will be cut a day or two lol
