Hell yeah, that's one of the best-sounding boxes of that era. If it's in nice condition you could easily get $300 to $500 for it on Ebay.

Great collection I love the 9994 and the k version fortunate to grab 2 on eBay. In my opinion Sanyo made the best and most appealing boomers

it a big diference between M9998K and M9998LU. M9998 LU have more power, and loudness work on bass and treble .
Why would the LU have more power? It is just a different voltage sold in countries that use that voltage.

M9998 has better bass, M9994 has better mids & treble
On my opinion, JVC m90 ,jvc m70, and NATIONAL RX7200, RX7000, are the most cristal clear sound..the others are second class.

Both sound great. M9998 has a little more bass, M9994 has a little more treble. But that's just my opinion.
