Using a cable instead of wireless signals is actually genius.
Wait, those drones literally have a cable attached to them?
This is my question. So there is a spool with wound fiber optic cable on a drone and the cable is attached to the launch point and so the drone can travel some kilometers which is nearly the length of the fiber optic cable?
@@simplehealthyliving4681 Yes
@@rightrocker8914 So such drones are like kites?
@@simplehealthyliving4681 ну оптоволокно крепкое, плюс выходит из катушки на самом дроне и просто ложится за ним на рельеф, деревья спокойно

6:50 that's pure assumtion that the shaheds travel in a truck in that position and are launched like that. That information is from a 4 years old video(or more) where Iran showed the footage but we are completly clueless on how the Shaeds are launched.
Good video but it's mostly classified information, we only know how the Orlan drones are operated, the rest is still a mystery. I am pretty sure that lancets and shaeds are deployed and launched in a different way.
There are also more drone models than the orlan and you didnt even mention the types of orlan. Nice video but extremly shallow, you also forgot to mention that the missles can also be onyx missles from costal batteries or from submarines
Why te fiber optic cable is carried by the drone? It would be more sensical leaving in the ground. Less weight airborne
Forgot about the drone (Inokhodets,) translated as Pacer, in the civilian version Orion. The target is a military communications institute in Poltava.
But Orion isn't used so frequently

Only communication
lots of facts in this one are wrong...
1:45 5 miles = 10 km ?!
5 miles is equal to approximately 8.05 kilometers (km).
Here's the conversion calculation:
1 mile = 1.60934 kilometers
5 miles = 5 x 1.60934 km = 8.0467 km
So, 5 miles is approximately 8.05 km.

In the graph about cumulative charges the front and back of the charge are mixed up. The cone should point away from the target with its sharp edge.
